I like what Les said last week about the article, basically there was no wrong doing to his knowledge and beside that they didn't need to cheat, they were winning! Funny and true! That said this is all bullshite and will come and go!

Other than having an agenda against a rival, why would they pick OSU? I have heard of instances described at plenty of schools.
Money? Some version of pay for play occurs most places. OU had the issue with Rhett Bomar getting paid for not working. That was not an isolated incident.
Grades? Saban was accused of similar tutor issues while at LSU. Auburn had the players getting sociology degrees when some if the professors never heard of the players that were "Scholar Athletes of the Week".
Drugs? Aaron Hernandez told NFL teams that he failed 7 tests at Florida without punishment. TCU was running a drug trafficking ring on their team, in which a player said 75% of the team would fail drug tests. Bama had players dealing drugs in the parking lot of their football building. Of course! LSU had its problems.
Hostesses? During the time being investigated the UT hostess group was legendary. Why bring in girls to have sex with players when they could hook up with anyone in the clubs?
I have a feeling that Miles will get dragged through the mud here. For some reason his national reputation is worse that we believe. He is not one of the Teflon coaches that don't get their just due of criticism like Saban, Meyer, Stoops, etc.
They said yesterday that no current players or coaches were involved. Heck, Gundy was there under Miles as an OC and is still there. How can they say he wasn't involved?
I think Gundy cleaned house of many of the players once Miles left. Chances are that some of them are the ones talking.

Doesnt SI's credibility take a lil bit of a hit after the hilarious Saban to Texas article based off Pawls tweet about saban going to texas this friday(to play A&M)....lol

Miles has lost control of the hostesses!!!!
For what it is worth, (a small subset), I don't believe Miles would do such a thing like some here indicate.

Statute of limitations is over so even if he knew, it doesn't matter.
I don't care what he did 10 years ago, I care about what he does this year

I don't know how Miles will be affected but for anyone to believe that this is just going to blow over, I don't know about that.
quote:
"I apologize to all the athletic directors in the conference for what's about to happen, for what's about to be said about a member institution," Holder said at a news conference without taking questions. "That reflects on everyone, all our brothers and peers, we're very remorseful about that."
When the Ok St - AD is already saying this and not trying to deny allegations in a report that is not out yet. That only means that what is about to be reported has a lot of validity to it.
quote:
"Unfortunately, we've got something out there on the horizon that we'll have to deal with," Holder said. "I don't know a lot of specifics. I know a little bit. I know enough to be very concerned.
For anyone to be naive enough to believe Miles didn't know about what was going on in his football program, come on look at him at LSU does that really sound like Miles? That is not Miles, whatever happened Miles knew what went on. I just hope most of it went on under Gundy, but it doesn't sound like it.

It will. This is an OSU problem and not even a big one. The media will have moved on to A&M/Bama by Friday.

That players smoked weed, did shitty in school, and banged chicks? I'm sure he knew and didn't give a shite like every other coach in America.

LSU had ladies that did Recruiting and took care of the Recruits when they showed up and took them around. I think they were called The Tiger Pride or something like that. I thought all that came to an end when Colorado got busted for that.

Colorado got busted for bringing in real strippers and hookers for recruits not hostesses.

Good point. How is it that it's only in cases of supposed wrongdoing that Les all of a sudden knows what's going on?
