No and anyone who thinks he will is ignoring reality. LSU will be an 8-3... 9-2 team under Miles even with a top notch Def coordinator. Miles isn't disciplined and his teams won't be.

Yes we will contend for the NC in the next 2 years...
Seriously we will be in a BCS bowl game in the next 2 years..I'd be willing to bet on that.

His first 3 seasons: 11-2, 11-2, 12-2. He doesn't know how to use talent? most of you guys have no perspective. I figure most of you are saints fans, so you can appreciate winning titles, but apparently 1 in 4 yrs as coach is not enough, nor 3 11+ win seasons.

You guys are seriously being rediculous. If by elite you mean as good as we have been then no, because we have been the best there is the last few years. If you mean challenging for SEC and NC every year like USC and Texas and Oklahoma then yes we will. Forget about the last five years. No one will be that good for awhile. Not even Florida has had that run as good as they are. No one will be as good as LSU 2003-2007. But we will continue to compete.

Will he learn to get plays in without a delay of game or right at the last second?

Or maybe yell at players for ridiculous penalties or terrible decision after terrible decision.

Maybe it just takes a few years????

Given the fact that he has single handedly removed us from elite status, we won't be making a return any time soon.

Expect 3-4 loss seasons for the next few years.

Les Miles is good for two losses a year, even in national championship years.

We had the most talent in the country last year and squandered a dream year by sitting Charles Scott in the second half against Kentucky for an injured JH and not making ANY adjustments against the Arky attack last year.

I agree. NC's are only as good as your number of losses. I'd rather have gone 13-1 and been 2nd or 3rd

Outside of QB, LSU has good talent now, just poor coaching. I don't see Les being able to put LSU back as Elite team.

Les won't be here for a few more years if he doesn't win big next year. He makes too much money to be allowed to be mediocre.

LSU has been to the penthouse and the fans won't stand for a free fall next year. Les had better make big changes and hire a great DC and replace several assistants if he wants to remain. Making $4 million will insure he must produce or go.

With a good hire at DC, I would say without a doubt and in very short order (like within 2 years).

We've had top 10 recruiting classes for how many fricking years?

nice moneyg.

spoiled rantards are ridiculous. Why don't you guys look at LSU football history. This past decade is as good as it gets, and that's due to both saban and miles.
