I'd let Mo kick a field goal. Problem solved.

No, this season wasn't solely about beating Bama. It's about winning a championship, and the team isn't there yet. They won't stop until they reach that goal.

LSU is usually flat against the late non conference opponent. Hopefully, it won't be Troy St. and will be more like La Tech.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if we were a little flat. Good job by the scheduler though. I would rather us be flat against W. Kentucky than an SEC team.

Do you sometimes use the handle Draconian Sanctions? This sounds familiar but different.

Spot on, Roger. I just hope people remember this when we don't win by 5 touchdowns. Frankly, I hope we spend all this week prepping for Ole Miss and Arky, even at the expense of looking less than great against WKU. Tigers roll, 34-3.

I love how everyone that advocates WKU talks about their 5 game winning streak like its the best stat they've ever seen. And after reading further, I found out that it's the LONGEST winning streak in the programs history. This is more pathetic than NSU.

It will be a one score game until the second score, which will shortly follow the first score.

For kicks, we should let them score more than 6.

You know what....I like Miles for dat! We do what needs to be done and leave it at dat. I think our "Mojo" will be fine against WKU. The game to win is against dem hogs.

I think they will be flat on D. The Offense will be looking to prove something. Hopefully Jarret will actually read the defense before throwing the ball. I also think we'll see JJ throw more.

I'd take a 3 - 0 win right now.

A national championship is front of this team, strictly by doing one things.

Beating opponents. THATS the beauty of a tough schedule. When you go to Alabama and win, no one cares about your style points from that point afterward.

And yes giving up 10 is retarded , considering we held Bama to 6

My counter to this would be that the backups see more garbage time than most games so a late TD could happen.

Basically, the whole season has been building up to the Alabama game last Saturday

Now it's going to build up to Arkansas, the SEC champ, and NC game. You don't think this even more mojo-inducing?

WKU is going to get murdered even if we sat the first string.

If our team was pumped up, I would agree. I do not see us losing, but I don't see us covering the spread, either. I don't think anyone on this board saw La Tech in 2009 or McNeese State last year being as close as they were.

Fact is, we are probably overlooking WKU and will probably have a very vanilla game plan, while giving backups some playing time. I can easily see us giving up 10+ points this week. That's not a indication of how good our D is, but that we may not be physically and mentally on top of our game.
