Gorilla ball was only a thing because of the climate of college baseball at that time...no more gorilla ball because of bat changes, improvement of pitchers as a whole, etc etc...there's a lot of reasons that the record has stood for as long as it has, and I don't think any team who plays in a decent sized stadium will break that record any time soon.

All that said, of course it's possible to go over 150, it's just impossible to realistically predict that right now. Sure, LSU HAS THE BATS to go over 150, but I don't feel comfortable right now saying definitively "YES" and wouldn't lay money on the >150 idea.

Would be great indicator of success if we did though
