This is LSU's remaining schedule. What has to happen for the Tigers to get in?

Currently LSU is 15-4, 3-1 in the SEC

LSU is currently 75 in the RPI according to CBSsports.com

LSU's SOS is 178

LSU's marquee OOC victory was against Washington State (108 RPI)

LSU lost at Utah by 30 (26 RPI)

LSU lost at Bama (133 RPI)

I don't think just reaching the 20 win mark makes LSU a lock for the dance.

Just winning the West doesn't make LSU a lock (two years ago MSST and Ole Miss tied for the west title and neither got in)

LSU has to win on the road at Tennessee (16 RPI) and Kentucky (50 RPI) and at home vs. Florida (33 RPI)

Basically LSU needs to beat the big 3 in the East and and go 6-3 in the other 9 conference games.

I dont see it happening, but hopefully I am wrong. I think this team is a team that could probably win the NIT though.

Just sucks though because next year will be a struggle especially if TAZ leaves school early (which I dont think he will).

Next years lineup looks like this:

PG - Spencer
SG - ???
SF - Storm Warren
PF - Tasmin Mitchell
C- ???
PF- Taz Mitchell

At least 9-3, prob a SEC Tourney win, too. Of course, it also depends who they beat, not just the record.

The SEC West is getting zero respect..and rightfully so..it's not good. Therefore, LSU needs wins over the top dogs in the SEC east to start getting some attention

If they split Tenn-Kentucky, and win one in the SEC tourney, they're in.

I think the SEC Tourney will go a long way in helping LSU get in. I really only see us losing maybe 3 more games total in the SEC so if we can win a couple in the Tourny I think we get in.

I see 8 more SEC wins in regular season with at least one more W in the SEC tourney. 24 wins and we are in.

I think LSU splits with Auburn and Arkansas. The Hogs are struggling right now but they have one of the SEC's best post players and they have beaten some good teams. Auburn is also going to test LSU. LSU will need the games at UK and Tennessee. I think LSU can beat Florida. The gators have no interior game and if LSU can rattle them and take away the 3 they can win.

IF LSU can win 10-11 SEC games, I don't think this game is a MUST win for LSU.

I think the game this week at Tennessee will say a lot about this team's ability to bounce back after a loss.

Unfortunately the Vols are also coming off a loss.

If LSU wins 20 + but doesn't win at UK or Tennessee it will be a very empty 20 IMO. As I've said, I think LSU is a good SEC team but they won't have a true quality road win

I think they can 500 the rest of the way easily which will put them at 21 wins. I know the strength of schedule is a drawback. But when was the last time a 21 win SEC school didn't make it? and thats even before the SEC tourney.

If they win 22-23 in regular season and win at least one in SEC tourney, I think they will be fine.
