Considering all that's happened this season, do you guys think that many LSU fans will attend the bowl game?

There will be a shite-load of LSU fans in Orlando. We have a pretty good alumni base there plus there is always a ton of LSU fans in Disney for New Years.

Great excuse for a party and a vacation rolled into one. They will swamp the place.
The big question is will the Big 11 team's fans show up?

Orlando?? Hell yea! If LSU fans aren't excited to go to Orlando, then I don't know what to say.

Dallas? Not as fun as a trip to Orlando, but with the appeal of the new stadium would be cool to go see.

Chik fil a? Meh.. Been there alot lately, and its getting old. So I could see how some fans wouldn't travel as well.

Anything below those? I don't think the LSU fans would flock in droves.

You do realize it is just he vocal minority that dislike Miles and think it is the end of the world to be 9-3?

We will travel and we will travel well.

There were a ton of Iowa fans there in 2005.

Yea, Iowa traveled better than LSU, but Saban's departure had alot to do with it.

Maybe. Based on the emails yesterday, it looks like it might be a good year for fans who normally get shut out on bowl tickets to pick some up.

Without a doubt!

LSU pre sold over 8,200 tickets as of this morning. This does not include the ticket numbers of the push for Alumni pre sales in the state of Florida.

I know of a bunch of people that will be ordering tickets over the next few days.

I expect a very large group of Tiger fans present!

A few of my friends are taking their chances ordering tickets from ticketmaster and such because they said they've always gotten crappy tickets through LSU.

if its against a powerhouse like Penn State?....you bet your arse. if we can have 20,000 fans travel 2000 miles to see the Tigers play an 0-12 team from the previous year, you bet we'll have a lot in Orlando.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the fact that the Saints Super Bowl march could deter some from investing in our bowl game.

I would have been much more likely to go to the Cap One Bowl if the Saints were not as likely to play in the Super Bowl.

I have reservations in Miami just in case, and I'm not even a lifelong Saints fan.
