I really think the problem last year, was that Les did not use all the talent we had. And he didn't use it when he needed to.

Care to elaborate. These statements are just so broad. It seems as if Les and his staff would have a better grasp on their personnel than you, but I've been wrong before.

Not much trindon, not enough of keiland catching out the backfield, oh yeah why have murphy runnin the wild tiger formation?, really a lot of offensive playcalling. Defense just wasn't there anyway.

The under-utilization of Chad Jones comes to mind.

I'd like to see Richard Dickson catch 60 passes this year.

Yeah i think Dickson would be a big target for Jefferson. I don't see 60 catches though, maybe 35 and 4 tds.

Last year he managed 31 receptions and 5 touchdowns with three different quarterbacks. Assuming the Peach Bowl was a sign of things to come at the QB position, there is no reason Dickson can't top these numbers especially if you consider he was injured part of last year.

What idiot DC put Chad Jones at Strong Safety instead of Free Safety last year.

Patrick Peterson didn't start from day one.
Ron Brooks and Karnell Hatcher got little playing time.
Chad Jones didn't start.
Maybe Ryan Baker.
Jefferson not starting from day one.
Maybe Ryan Baker and Deangelo Peterson.

They may not know the offense/defense as well, but I think it's incumbent on the coaches to make sure the young guys are learning like the old guys.

'all the talent we had" got outplayed or outscored by all the talent the gators, the dawgs, the rebs, the hogs and the tide had. expulsions, injuries, inexperience and implosions at the qb position doomed LSU from start to finish. our skill players and defense failed to make play after play after play. blame the coaches if you want...reality states otherwise.

don't see why Jefferson would start from day 1 when he was playing terrible in practice for most of the season

Not to mention you already had a guy in Lee that had one season of learning the system under his belt. It really wouldn't have made sense to start JJ from day one IMO. Having said that, there are a few ocassions where I would have liked to see him get mop up duty earlier in the season. Then again, I'm just a fan and don't get paid the big bucks to make these decisions.

I agree with Stromile. I think Les wishes he had used Jordan earlier to get him ready. He has admitted he did not handle Jarret properly. He needed protecting more after mistakes. Maybe run the ball more.

Les will use his talent more wisely. After 8-5 he knows he has too. After a MNC he lost sight of this and other things as did the players, as hard as that is for all of us to imagine.
