ok, fine...but I'm just stating there is a good chance we lose 4 of our best 5 D players

we didn't do that last year

Most definitely. He's good for at least one loss per season due to sheer stubborness and poor clock management. He's been extremely lucky that more of his highly questionable decisions haven't come back to bite him in the arse.

If the SEC decides to keep permanent opponents, then we'll have to face Florida every season. They are a team on the rise, and Bama shows no signs of slowing down. Throw in our QB problems, which I predict will continue for as long as Miles meddles with the offense, and you've got a recipe for at least 2 or 3 losses right there. Last year with only one loss was an anomaly.

Edwards is a SR, Sam, Reid and Mingo are all going to go in the first 40-50 picks, likely first round. The only one that is likely to return is Minter and I wouldn't be shocked if he bolted, given his performance to date.

Isn't the BCS championship game a part of the season? The culmination of the season? When the season record is shown, isn't that game included?

Miss st- no. UGA-no. Miss st will lose on talent alone. UGA hasn't beaten a legit team for yrs. they're perennial 9-3/10-2.

. You do get that Miles brings most of it on himself, right?

You could make the argument that Mo, Tyrann, Brockers and BTaylor were 4 of our best 5 defensie players last year.

I think if Chief ever moves on, there's a pretty decent chance that we lose 3+ games in a season more than once. The defense has bailed us out a number of times over the past few years. It's really going to be difficult to replace the best DC in the country, and keep the defense playing at its current level.

If Chief leaves LSU will have a losing season. He has bailed Miles out year after year with Miles shitty offense.

You do realize LSU won 2 national championships before Chavis ever got here right? One under "Miles' shitty offense". No I guess you didnt.

I could see 3 losses

It's way to early to start prediction 2013.

The answer is yes, but hopefully not anytime soon.

Are you not counting the 5 loss season in 2008?

The reading comprehension is exceptionally low in this thread. Some people need to read and reread the bolded section before they post something about losing just 3 games or the 5 loss season in 2008.

Well we had Saban for one and Bo Pelini for another. If the Chief leaves and we can't get another great DC like him, Miles can easily have 3-4 loss seasons back to back because of the 'shitty' offense he eruns. See 2008 and 2009. Miles' philosophy needs an elite defense to work and bail him out of tough situations.
