Miles compiled a 112-32 record at LSU, which includes a remarkable 63-28 record in SEC regular season games. Also won one NC, and lost one.

As time goes by, I wonder if he'll ever be welcomed back on campus, or be given a statue one day. It was time for a change but I enjoyed him more as the Riverboat Gambler. Those fake Fg's were awesome calls.

No, especially after the female allegations that came out

Are you confusing him with Ed? Most LSU fans are thankful for Les but understood it was time for change. He’s not some public enemy around Baton Rouge

No statue, but statistically he is the best coach in LSU history.

He's a tiger legend and should be admired in BR

I’ll never hate Ed. Dude gave us the greatest season ever and I think he’s a Louisiana legend.

Happy we moved on, though.

Absolutely. Future LSU generations will look back at his undeniably GOAT statistics and highlights of the fake field goals and the fun mad hatter stuff

Won’t happen on the rant, though

I dunno man. Something about being a sleeve behind closed doors rubs me the wrong way no matter how many wins your have.

For some fans, the answer is "no".

He didn't throw the ball enough even with Mettenberger and he didn't win enough natty's and most horrid of all he lost to Bama in a championship game. Just one of those crimes is enough to sink him in their minds.

Remember, "the bad that men do live after them, the good is often interred with their bones".

I find all the statue talk on The Tiger Rant sooooo tiresome.

The problem we have now is the bones that are coming out of his closet again. And although he coached at Kansas after LSU, there is a pic of him in LSU gear with the caption saying former LSU coach being sued by female victim. So no redemption for him because LSU is still getting drug through his mud.

I do appreciate the natty and the crazy plays too. But his time needs to be swept under the rug.

I understand that, but I'd say he's not the only coach to cheat on his wife. Kiffen is highly revered although his chasing coeds is spoken about. There are rumors that Saban and Candy Edwards may have been an item. Yet Les is called creepy. It just seems to be a double standard in coaching circles.

So a faculty member preying on students is okay with you? You must not have any daughters.

If rumors are true, it's Lane Kiffin's history too. Why is one judged more harshly is all I'm asking.

It wasn't the football stuff for me. It was time for him to go, but if that was the end of it, he would've been fine. The sexual harassment stuff that came out after is what tarnished his legacy.

Both Les and Ed won national championships
Both were fired, deserved for sure

No statues for either of them but at times both were tremendous coaches.

I don't recall Lane Kiffin's name mentioned in a lawsuit over it. Or did I miss that part?
