Miles lost a lot of national respect for the shite he put on the field 01/09/2012 in front of a national audience.

Didn't say he wasn't good enough and didn't say he wasn't a great coach.. The discussion is if he is a top 3 coach..

For the amount of salary he is paid, yes, perfection should be the goal.

I like Les Miles VERY much and I really like having his as our coach. However, notice Bama lost just as many folks as we did to graduation, draft, etc. Bama though, still plays fundamentally sound football every week. Maybe some growing pains here and there but solid and disciplined. Thats is ALL coaching!!!

this

It is hard to digest how a coach can let two QB's set on the bench in the NC game and never give either a snap to try to change the game

i'm guessing you didn't take economics?

you might see how much les has impacted the economy of louisiana. his salary brings in 100x as much.

he doesn't get paid as much as saban and saban ain't perfect.

go back to school.

This.

I'm sitting in the DMV, and a stranger notices my 2011 SEC champions cap and says to me. "we finally got a quarterback? Just think how good we could be if we had a coach?" That's the mentality you are dealing with!

A lot of you people think as long as he wins that it is OK! He doesn't have to win a national title, just keep winning the majority of his games, well, if that's what you want then I guess that is fine and dandy. I, on the other hand would prefer he win national titles!

My biggest gripe with LM is the horrible offenses and our lack of being able to develop players.

I wish he would have brought in Rich Rodriquez(as OC) last season when he was out of football to run the offense, they would have blown people off the map with the talent they keep on offense. Alabama would have been wiped out, they wouldn't have known what hit them.

Do 2 things for me:

1) Google the top 10 offensive years for LSU

2) Do some research on how many 2 and 3 star recruits Les put into the NFL.

Then bring your tard arse back.

yep. Who would you rather as OC? Rodriquez or Studwalrus? My answer is simple.

He's a great recruiter but I wouldn't call him a great coach

Why not just take a run at Gruden? While you're at it get Jerry Rice for the WRs?
