Wow. You are DUMB. Its a shame that people ONLY think of LEE and a pick-6

Am I? Where exactly did I say one thing about a Pick6? Unable to comprehend a written statement is dumb FWIW

It's all hypothetical just like discussing the '11 season in general. Get your panties out of a bunch and don't join the conversation if you don't want to talk about it.

To answer your question, if Jarrett Lee does exactly what Cam Newton did last year then sure it'll be one of the greatest comeback stories ever.

Call me a Nega-Tiger but I think it's more likely that LSU loses 4 games this year than Lee winning the Heisman en route to a perfect season and a BCS championship. But I'll be happy to be proven wrong. I hope LSU beats all of our opponents by multiple scores and Lee wins the Heisman. But I wouldn't bet one red penny on that unlikely outcome.

It's a boring fricking conversation because somebody starts the same thread every single day.

I'd rather talk about why JJ has 49 pairs of shoes. Seems equally pointless to me.

Lets NOT forget that we avg. over 31 PPG in 2008. The D was the problem. NOT LEE!!!!!!

This is the dumbest post of the year...
you serious Clark?

a guy who threw 16 picks and 7 pick sixes and the defense was the problem, yea cause they where on the damn field all night. dont be this damn stupid.

Im not calling you an idiot, but that sounds like something an idiot would say.

now, he has the ability and may play lights out and I hope he does.

but dont let this turd ever come out of your mouth again.

If Lee becomes one of the best comeback stories ever, do you start second guessing you staffs' ability to evaluate qbs?

Many of us been questioning Les' ability to evaluate QB's for a while now.

Let's see him play maybe a quarter, as a starter for christ sakes (I was at his last start and it wasn't pretty and it wasn't 08- a cookie if you can name it ) before we declare him ready for a statue next to Shaq's

We saw him finish off 2 games last year that would have been L's had it not been for him

The offense was ranked much higher that year than it has been since.

The D was the issue. How many picks did we throw last year and only lost 2 games? Try watching some college football before you post.

I'm not sure what motivates Lee but he can take his pick and run with the choice. I think the guy has everything going for him and if he can just be Dilfer we're set. Keep other teams honest and let the play makers play.

And he accounted for 49 plus points for the other opponents, also when you have a defense thats on the field more than the offense, the team usually is going to lose. Im sorry that you dont know anything about football because your vision of Lee is so clouded, I understand you want him to do well and so do I, but dont just flat out lie because you are so hopelessly biased.

And JJ threw 9 picks last year, so thats about right we lost 4 games with Lee throwing 16, so what is your point in that comment. It really doesnt make sense, but Im not going to relive the past, I was just addressing the other stupid arse , but I will address your nonsense as well since you cant seem to understand.

I believe he will. The guy has been through so much adversity- and has never given up. He's like a real-life Rocky Balboa. He deserves this chance, and I'm behind him 100%!!!!!!

sure did so that's a great reason for optimism

but not the best comeback story ever....

you know like let him actually do it before people start putting what THEY want to happen on the guy.

again, is there reason for a little hope? sure hell I want it to happen too

but I'd like to see it happen or even maybe start to happen before I call it the best ever something

eta: and I know that most of you will be tearing him a new one if Saturday turns into a disaster, you all know it too...

I'm not biased, check my posts. You trying to measure shite by Int is laughable. How many did MF have in 07? 12 (the team had 13)I believe How many losses should that equal in your "int/win" ratio? What about 03, GASP 15 ints we couldn't have only lost one game right

The D was an issue. QB play was also an issue.

What exactly does he have going for him?

I pray to god he does well, but I'm not sure why some people have been so optimistic about JJ and now Lee starting.

Going for him? A shot a redemption. A shot to play at the next level if he does well. A chance to lead a much better team than the one he got in 08.

If he leads us to the MNC, they can call it the greatest comeback story ever or call it whatever they please and you'll hear no squawks from me.

Heck, if he leads us to the SEC west title, they can call it whatever they want.

We beat up on some OOC pansies in 08. In SEC games our offense was slightly better last year than in 08.

2008 conference games:

363.4 ypg
25.9 ppg

2010 conferece games:

364.4 ypg
26.5 ppg

We also turned the ball over more and allowed more sacks in 2008.
