will kelly play nuss or stick with daniels all year?

I just want Nuss to get some meaningful snaps against the Grambling's on the schedule. JD will be the starter all year.

JD is the starter. FINE, but Nuss still needs snaps.
He should get a couple of series each game, especially with the new clock rules, because he will have fewer opportunities unless they are part of the game plan.

I doubt Nuss gets reps against Grambling except perhaps last few minutes. Kelly is Les 2.0 when it comes to being an old stubborn mule. He will play JD to prove to everyone that he is right and they are wrong. To hell with what is best for the team. His ego will not allow him to give Nuss a fair opportunity.

And he shouldn’t if JD is the guy. If Nuss was the starter, after last week he would need every single rep moving forward. I wouldn’t want JD playing either

His best bet would be to play his future QB that he will have for next year and get him some experience. Daniels had his chance and now that ship should have sailed.

Kelly assured us, during Spring, that Nuss would get some plays in games with the first team.
That was when he was trying to ensure that Nuss didn't enter the Portal and come back to bite him in the arse.
We will see soon.
Interesting, last week a large percentage of the Fans were adamant that all Daniels weaknesses had been eliminated in the off season. Kelly had assigned him training to ensure he would/could throw the ball down field and throw receivers open.
Could hardly wait to see the new improved version. Heisman candidate, first rd draft pick for sure.

my prediction is that if kelly sticks with JD without giving Nuss a decent chance he will lose the fan base by year's end, based on wins and losses.
the big games will be frustrating to watch, as well as matchups with arkansas, florida, Moo state, ole miss, auburn, even if we win some of those.

Nuss will start only if Dainels is hurt.
Yes Nuss will play in a blowout.
Yes Nuss will start if we are not more productive against orher teams. Unfortunately this may mean another loss to a moo state, ole miss, or something to that caliber.
