I'm sure JL is going to turn out to be a pretty good QB for LSU. He was obviously in over his head last season. He was just a redshirt freshman. He showed flashes that he could be a good QB once he settles in but it looked like he was a long way off from that happening. Maybe over time it will all click in his head and the speed of the game will slow down for him and he will turn out to be a dam good QB. I hope it does.

His first gig in the drivers seat last year showed great promise against a great defense in GT. Still too early to tell but if he keeps improving and doesn't get injured he has a good chance of being near the top.

Both have time to improve, both should improve.
LSU needs them both, they push each other to improve in practice.
