He has a chip on his shoulder. I loved it when Lee came in and threw a TD pass a few games ago i think maybe against Vandy??? He pointed to the home crowd and student section with a smerk on his face like I'll show all you dumbasses. I love that attitude. He has something to prove. Let him play

It was ULL and he almost shite his pants when he dropped back stumbling.

Come on, Dean...you know I'm a better poster than that.

Didn't say that this was the case. I'm not there for practices. All I have to go off of is game experience. I just like Lee better as a quarterback; I like his form, I like his ability to throw it down field.

Granted, the interceptions were horrible, but I believe they are correctible with more experience.

My opinion (= you nor anyone else has to agree with it and it isn't fact) is that Lee is a better quarterback. That is just my thought.

Was he great last year? No. Did he move the ball? Yes. And he was only a redshirt freshman, so I believe (thought its not a given), that he will continue to improve.

Did we have a running game and a veteran line? Yes.

Agreed and its a fair point. I'm not going to dispute it.

Would Lee put up points like he did last year? No..probably not.

But would it hurt to see if he can or can't?

Well, he has a 100% completion percentage, his TD/interception ratio approaches infinity, and his efficiency rating is above 311. Show me another qb in the nation with those stats.

Just sayin'.

nice, i love that stat, seriously name one QB who has better stats. For all you LEE haters out there, you should want him to play so he can at least attempt to throw an incomplete pass to knock him off the top spot

See..here's where I get lost in all of this.

Do I think Lee is better? Yes. But do I root against JJ? No.

I don't get factions of this fan base that root against either kid. It's ridiculous. We're all Tigers here!

Big boy, I rooted for JJ when LEE was going through his growing pains last year. I wanted to give him a shot and let Lee watch like he should have done his Freshman year. I like JJ, but he needs to sit and watch a little too.

If it is one thing all TIGER fans can agree with, it is that Ryan Perrilloux would be our starter and we should not even know anything about these two QB's. So yes, we can all say we are in a two year tail spin b/c of that situation.

I think some people would rather prove they're right so they can say "I told you so", rather than have the Tigers win. I'm not intending this toward anyone on this particular thread.

Or we can blame it on bad coaching or a bad defense last year. I mean, there are teams that win with inexperienced quarterbacks.

But I think these guys are both ready to do some damage. Let's hope they do!

So you do not think JJ can limit the sacks with experience? Your argument does not hold well. JL averaged 2 INTS PER GAME and 1 PICK 6!!! And guess what happened just this year in the spring game? 2 INTS and 1 PICK 6!!!

You guys need to start trusting the coaches...all this boils down to not trusting the coaches and thinking you can do a better job at judging talent than they can!!

Point well made....

Here is my take:

I do not have a crystal ball and I really don't know AT THIS POINT, who the better QB is.
They each bring something different to the table.
Personally, If I do not have ONE big GUN, I rather have 2 small ones as it were.

We have become PREDICTABLE and easy to defend.
We need some options...
I do not know where JL is THIS year, but I know this
a) he had to have gained a lot of insight
b) he has a SET of balls to put up with the fanbase crap and still be here.
c)he throws a very good deep ball down the sideline

so MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, he was given plays to execute for which he was not ready...

if that is the case, it is simple..
Mr. OFFENSIVE COACH! ..
DON'T GIVE HIM THOSE PLAYS.
a good coach knows how to adapt HIS play calling to the ability of the player and not the other way around.

PS
and let's not forget timely drops by the receivers and absent play by the D at times.
it was not all JL

Our coach is subject for removal if he loses 4 to 5 more games this year

And neither does yours. So just because the guy threw interceptions last year and they were (freakishly) returned for so many touchdowns, you think that it will repeat itself.

Read my previous posts. I SAID IT WAS MY OPINION. I'm not at practice, so I don't know. I give the coaches the benefit of the doubt.

But when you score 3 points in a game with the talent LSU has, you have to wonder what's going on.

Some of you people should learn a little fricking reading comprehension.

Unless we somehow get blown out big in one of the games before which is unlikely b/c of the defense.... I don't see miles benching JJ...IMO

JJ could continue to regress, and barring injury will get 99# of the remaining snaps. Les seems hellbound on living/dying by JJ.
