Florida gave up
38 to Tenn
31 to Arkansas
32 to Florida St
54 to Alabama

Alabama gave up
43 to Ole Miss
30 to Arkansas
14 to A&M (would have been enough)
35 to Clemson

So basically we were NT as good as Arkansas on offense. I wouldn’t call back in after that response either.

POTENTIAL?? We don't have a guy on the roster that has any real game experience.

Transfer from Texas Tech is said to be a stud at WR

Pretty impressive how in two short years, O has managed to gut the team at the two positions that have been the most stacked with talent: RB and CB.

Glass half-empty

We've made LOS a possible strength. RB's will be fine.

Just taking a bunch of OL doesn’t make the OL a strength.

They have to be good.

And I think We’ll have a good OL next year but we are acting like we’ll have 5 stars up and down he line when we’re really hoping for production from a few 4 and 3 stars.

Damn. I didn't know Bama and UF only played 4 games that year.

I mean what does finishing in the Top 5 in the nation really tell you about a defense?

Giles might be the best playmaker we have on the team.

Here is the other team
To get held to 0 points by Bama

Kent state

Florida we join the prestigious ranks off UMass Kentucky North Texas UGA Bandy South Corlina and Iowa getting heals under 14.

Really elite
Company there.

Clearly Ensminger really elevated our offense to unseen levels. I mean I always Dreamed we could be as good as Kent State.

Alabama was

Alabama allowed 12 points a game (on average)
Florida allowed 16.8 a game (on average)

So we scored below average vs both teams (our numbers are included in those averages we brought hmthose averages down)

If we had an average game vs those teams we would have won both those games (I am Rounding up. For Florida I know)

13 teams scored more points on Alabama than LSU did, and 1 (Kent St.)matched 0. 5 teams score more point on Florida that LSU did, and 1 (Georgia) matched 10.

Your argument holds almost no weight.

I'm arguing against someone that picked 4 games out of 12 and used that as proof the best defense in the country was not good.

"The company line! How much did other teams score against those D's? I'll hang up and listen."

That was your original statement. Do explain how 4 games fits anywhere in that.

I'll wait.

You asked how other teams did

And I pointed Out that multiple other teams scored considerable amounts of points vs Bama.

I never said Bama wasn’t good, we just need more than 10 points. We got fricking 0.

And I am Going to say Florida wasn’t good. They got scored on by any tw
With a pulse. Their stats are build up by playing Vandy, Missouri, Kentucky UMass N texas and the like. They were also missing a ton of starters.

Good offenses scored all over Florida.

We weren’t good

No you're implying that people's disappointment over the Ensminger hire is baseless and you're claiming his performance in 2016 is somehow proof. You're being shown that his performance in 2016 doesn't prove anything because he did really well against really poor run defenses (with fournette and Guice, shocking) and badly against ones that weren't. How does that justify giving him the job?

As long as we play defenses that are shite we will be fine. Good thing the SEC is just chock full of them.

#6 scoring defense

And like I said They played an easy fricking schedule and held shitty teams to nothing.

We’re part of that shitty team number

And team with scoring offense ranked over 60 put 30 points up on Florida
