This is his year... LSU gets running game going and gains 220-230 yards a game on ground. Scott tears through Washington for 240 on 19 carries and 2 touchdowns.

I hope that Scott has a good year like all the RB's do, but I think they will get 230yds a game and passing will get at least another 350 a game and we will win the NC this year on our way to winning 3 in a row. The reason that LSU does not recognize individual players like others do is because this is a team sport and it is about winning NC's and not HT's!

Nope ESPN has already asked the Athletic Club to start inscribing Tim Tebow's name on it, because they'll make sure that he gets all of the PR he needs to secure the votes.

Get ready for the Tim Tebow love fest all year. Only one way to stop it, and it could happen in Tiger Stadium.

Was listening to Rivals Radio the other day and they were saying to watch out for Scott that he very well could be in the contention for the Heisman...

i think if he gets upwards of 25 td's (which is very possible as he is a great back at the goal line) and 1400 yds then he has a shot at at least getting a nomination. I highly doubt that no matter how good of a season he has (short of 30 tds and 2000 yds), one of those 3 will win it!

He'll get some hype, but I don't see him getting to NYC. You have to be a once in a generation runner to win over a great QB, let alone THREE of them. Look at 07, McFadden couldn't even edge out Tebow.

I do think that he'll have a great season and get PAID next spring though.

Why does anyone honestly care about the heisman? Hell half the time it goes to some guy who can't make an NFL team as a reserve.

Totally agree. Screw the individual awards. Would rather get the team hardware. Here's a list of names that translated to greatness at the next level(Salaam, Weurfel, Weinke, Ricky Williams, Heupel, Crouch, Jason White, Leinart, Bush, etc.
