no the heisman goes to the best qb. scott has been a great back but he isnt "flashy" enough to pull off the heisman

this thread is pretty funny reading the responses...i guess everyone forgot about last year already

after his 100+ yard performance against auburn, ESPN had him in the top 5 on their heisman watch list...that's about as good as it gets as far as contention is concerned....so if he puts up the numbers, then you can bank it he will be in contention

with that being said, he can't shite a brick like he did in the florida game, georgia game etc...when i say that, i'm not blaming him moreso on our shtity offensive line & QB play those games

Agreed.

He'll likley average the usual 5.5-6 per carry. He gained 1,200 plus last year. He needs to add 500 more to that total and with Williams hopefully making a nice comeback and being able to get 70-90 touches, himself, Scott likley doesn't even repeat last year's success. Also, JJ and the newcomers will touch the ball more. Factor in LaFell and TT and you will count your lucky stars for Scott to break 1,000.

no, even if he got the carries he wouldnt win. good player, not great not an elite rb and not in a situation to win.

i think he will have 2 of 3 monster weekends where he will get the heisman love of those weeks, but i doubt he is a contender. I would love for him to prove me wrong though.

No. He doesn't command a big enough media market.

This year could be the best heisman race in a while and Scott won't be a part of it.

I hope he does, but highly doubt he will. As some one said earlier, too much talent on offense this year to not spread the ball around. I would rather win a NC than give him enough touches for him to be in the running for the Heisman.

If we're undefeated after UF and he's cranking out 100 yd games then he will probably be in contention for the Heisman at that point.
