all the talent, but can he stay injury free long enough to actually play a few games?

Dude! Wrong. They said he could play last week. He dressed but with a bye week following an easy game we decided to let him rest unless we needed him for the win.

I think Chaisson will be.

He had bad luck last year and go hurt.
It takes some time to mentally get back in and you can bet the coaching staff is protecting him for the stretch run.

Truth.

Guy was a beast. I remember him making a play and thinking he would be the next great DE/LB for us.
At least he's doing it in the NFL now.

he played one game last year.

he played 2 games this year.

I promise you if he plays next game and doesn't get hurt i'll never say another word about it.

They're just being cautious. Once SEC play starts, all of the guys nicked up will be a full go. It's a great luxury to have depth, and it will be a huge boost for us in the long term that plenty of guys are getting game reps.

Chaisson has been built up so much by some on here that he will never live up to it. He has loads of potential but doesn’t have the stats to match the hype.

Why does it seem going back a few years our "best" players wind up with lingering injuries that keep them out of a lot of games? Fournette , guice now chaisson Maybe Lawrence. They are all physical specimen, but seem to have lots of ligament or soft tissue problems to make it through a full season healthy. Where does this problem fall? With training staff? Doctors? Or strength coach ?

Met him a few times. Very nice guy. About 5 or 6 years ago he lived in St. Tammany, but not for very long.

I keep seeing him as a top rated prospect and I’m thinking we should at least watch him play a few games. I hope he lives up to the hype. He is an athletic freak and is well respected by his teammates.
