Love how Les found time to meet with each returning player, flew to RR's house, flew to RS's house, yet Lee and Blackwell both say that they haven't heard from Miles in 16 days. Because he's too busy recruiting.
well first of all, RR2 and RS10 still had eligibility. Lee and Blackwell don't. Don't see why you are having a hard time comprehending this.

Blackwell was quoted the day after the game in The Advocate as saying "we picked the wrong one" when asked about the QB situation.

But, it went wrong because the offensive line was dominated by Alabama's defensive line. Everything in the gameplan, as it has been all year, was predicated off of the running game.

Exactly!

I don't care which QB we played, with the OL getting stuffed and the pressure the Bama D got...we were in deep do-do.

39 yds rushing...net.

I never expected to see that from the rushing game we had for 13 games.

Miles not returning calls to Blackwell and Lee will become an error in judgement to that plan. 2) Miles vetoed 14 play calls in the BCS game. FOURTEEN. Overwhelmingly pass plays. Some players know this and don't understand why 3) Look for more unanswered questions on NSD

board are a result of people refusing to admit the obvious...we were physically dominated in the game.
. So let me get this straight. We physically dominated every team this year INCLUDING Bama in the 4th quarter of the first game. we absolutely wore the frick out major top programs in the sec and other conferences on the road.

Then magically, somehow Bama comes out and dominates our team in the biggest game of the year and the whole team, including the enigmatic and want filled coach, fold like a cheap suit before halftime.

I ain't buying it my friend.

Nobody did. And, no coach in the world with LSU's team and LSU's QB would have had a gameplan that favored the pass over the run. That's just something that people say in hindsight.

You are right. It is much more likely that it is some kind of conspiracy.

What did the offense look like against Georgia in the first half before we were able to get the running game going in the 2nd half? Did you forget that game? Did you not understand going into the game that LSU's offense would be in trouble if the running game was completely shut down?

I've noticed that you are an emotional thinker. Do yourself a favor and bring logic into the equation. You'll see that there were very tangible issues in the game that caused the end result.

He doesn't get it thats visits to guys with eligibility and thinking bout leaving IS RECRUITING.

Thing is, if Miles went to see Will and Lee, we would then hear...."what the hell is Miles doing wasting time in heart of recruiting on guys with no eligibility???"

Us 2nd guessers and arm chair guys are never wrong.

You'll never in a million years convince me that the only reason we lost the game was that our line got dominated. The complete look of fear and failure on their faces and their complete lack of fire BEFORE Bama had the chance to dominate them was striking.

We were beaten before we ever took the field. Something very sinister happened that night, and it wasn't just 'poor play'. Did our line get blown up? Yes. Was Bama being so good the reason? No. It was the same line from Nov. 5th. Did they suddenly forget how to play?

I ain't buying it.

plenty have posters have noted already - bama game plan AND bama play deserve a lot of credit... I thought as our season rolled on the only way we lose is if a quarterback plays out of his mind...

...and all of a sudden maccarron throws up aaron rodgers-type passes and bama receivers channel the texans andre johnson - our defense played with a big heart but couldn't get them off the field.

and as ugly as the game looked, we are not out of it with ten minutes left in the 4th quarter SO coach miles continue to stick with jj and hopes on a big play from the defense and special teams ...and wishing the offense makes a play, any play...

Blackwell and Peterson - thanks for the memories - all tiger fans are rooting for you and hope you will always call Tiger Stadium, LSU and Baton Rouge home.

did you see the game in Tuscaloosa? Bama dominated us there too. Our game plan sucked, but don't act like it was a surprise that Bama dominated our offense. The defense played well enough to win.

ok

So, what was the reason we didn't gain a first down in the first half against Georgia? Or much of the first game against Bama?

Yes, agree the D played well enough to win in the BCS game.

But Bama dominated us in T town? You do know we out rushed them during that game. The Tide only really threatened a TD after the one pick. And Bama looked gassed by the end of the game.

I'm not saying the Tigers dominated them. I'm just saying it's a real stretch to say they dominated the Tigers in T town.
