Nah, my statement is a little more believable. Well you could replace T. Jackson with our whole D-line.

Also how often have I heard this crap about LSU knocking the starting QB's out of however many consecutive games. Since when did harming of another competitor something to hang your hat on??

the question is will he make it through the game as in being COMPLETELY DOMINATED, not as being injured. Last season when we knocked out the starting QBs in the first 4 or 5 games none of them left injured, just demoralized. were not talking about breaking his back, just his pride.

I agree about the class thing.

I think this thread is nothing but pointless. I'm not saying this as an APP and AE fan, but as a football person in general. There is absolutely no point to this thread. Do you people WANT him to get injured?? THat's ridiculous if you do. It's completely classless.

I can understand that the heat would affect ASU's and LSU's players. If you think LSU's players are immune, you're crazy. NO ONE is immune to that kind of heat. If you think so, then maybe you should suit up and go out there. Let's see how long you last.

very true, i dont give a crap who you are. This heat is unbearable! I work at LSU between the Vet school and the baseball stadium on one of the farms and it is ridiculously hot. The most activity I do is carrying 50lb bags of feed and shoveling various amounts of shite. After 20 minutes im f'ing drenched of sweat. I couldnt imagine playing a 3-4 hr football game beating the crap out of each other.

no one whats our team to go out there and intentionally injury the other teams players.

but when you can physically dominate another teams players, who are getting hype from the media that they can compete with us. that dominance is a great site to see.

Maybe not immune, but certainly more acclimated, since they do practice in it every day.

...and, as they say, "Its not the heat, its the HUMIDITY."

not injuried. just humiliated and demoralized to the point that his fears have taken over his ablity to control his legs leaving him so scared he can't step on the field to face our defense in the second half.

Appalachian Rivals

Mountaineer Message Board

AppCountry

Any Given Saturday

Any Given Saturday is a I-AA board, but has a ton of App posters

The Mountaineer message board is by far the busiest, but has a weird format.

its rediculous to predict an injury specifically one on a guy thats faster than your entire D-line and linebackers. as long as he can avoid any cheap shots he'll make it just fine. we don't run too many plays that keep him staying behind the line of scrimmage with the ball for long anyway.

How fast is AE, i've seen him play before, but don't think he is that fast. By that fast, i don't think he is breaking a 4.4

You're kidding right?? If you want someone to respect your football team, they need to show class.

This thread is a load of BS. I understand that LSU fans have the reputation of being passionate about their team, just didnt realize that they also rooted for the injury of another teams player. I understand that "sportsmanship" may not be a term often used in the LSU community but at least show a little class. All I can hope for is a hard fought game with NO INJURIES.

I wans't reading the title as AE being removed because of injury. I read it, and most others responded as if, they were impluying he would be removed due to the game being out of reach or that he was getting a number of hard hits in a miningless, non divisional game in august, and the coaches wanted to protect him.

The ASU coaches arn't going to rick the franchise player on a game like this unless they are in a position to win. Down by two or more scores late in the game, he comes out.

They were showing class and giving class. It is a fact that 4 qb's, starters, were replaced in those games. NO injury. what is wrong with your ability to understand this?

Oh yeah, Good Luck.
