I know we all expect Chark to have a big year, but my question is what other reciever or recievers do you expect to have a big year?

My guess:
Drake Davis
Dee Anderson
Russell Gage

Stephen Sullivan needs to make a jump into serious playing time. He's the size of a power forward

Davis and Anderson are gonna be great, and Gage has already shown he can make some plays. He just needs to change that 39 haha

We will have a solid 4 man rotation there, then you've got guys like Dillon and Sullivan that bring something different to the table with their speed and size respectfully. We can use those guys too

Watch tight ends receiving. Canada loves pass catching TEs. Keep an eye out for Jacory Washington. He's got maybe the best hands of any LSU TE in at least a couple decades, and Les/Cam have never utilized him. Drove me absolutely crazy.

Absolutely!!! Kid smashed everyone in the UA Skills challenge. Canada is gonna pull his ONE hair out trying to figure out how to get all these Studs on the field!

I think Anderson will end up second on the team in receiving. Gage really got on the field because of his blocking. It's strange how well he did vs TAMU but had 0 catches in every other game, but maybe he makes that jump and becomes a consistent weapon.

With Canada coming in, this spring and fall camp should be really interesting. Chark is the obvious choice for #1 given his experience and play-making ability, but there are opportunities for young guys to come in, learn the offense and get some PT right away.

Davis
Anderson
Sullivan
Guidry
Gage
Netherly

lots of good talent with a wide-open opportunity to play

If he becomes half as reliable as Richard Dickson was, we will see a LOT of success.

I remember. A ton of five star receivers competed as well, and JW just killed it. I remember watching him and thinking, "why the frick is this kid coming to LSU?? Must be an outstanding run blocker."

I really hope he gets to showcase his full potential this year. Possible split slot/H-back type guy, for sure.

LSU has some versatile tight ends on the roster. I personally think our top 3 WR (Chark, Davis, Anderson) will be dynamic and very difficult to check. Don't forget about Guice coming out of the backfield. Linebackers can not stay with him.

the 2017 group of receivers/tight ends will be les talented than the 2016 team. Worse than the 2015 team too. Best in the nation is a stretch

Seriously, Chark is great, but that's a whole lot of inexperience behind him. We've lost Diarse, Quinn, Johnson, Jazz, Dural and Dupre over the past 13 months, not to mention Dillon Gordon, Desean Smith and Jeter.

That is one of the things that concerns me all of the talent we have lost in the last year. I wish Ferguson and Quinn were still with the team, even tho we have a lot talent it is so inexperience.

as far as receivers go, i would take a 2 star that knew how to run a route and had the moves to get open with no history of dropping the ball over any 4 or 5 star player.

not a big Evangel fan, but the times I watched them - they all knew how to do this (or they didn't play). think I would take the top one every year out of Evangel no matter what the stars say.

I don't know if top corners can stay with him lol. I remember in his AA game, he played receiver because RB depth was imposing. He won MVP on offense if I remember correctly.

I've been waiting to see him more in the passing game. Really hoped that would happen this year with both Guice and #7 in the backfield. Would have been a nightmare to guard but I guess we'll never know.
