I hated them in 2005 when the media slobbered them when they were undefeated for most of the season and looked like an average team doing it.

No one in the SEC likes Alabama, based on how historically dominant they've been (and the fact they claim fake national titles).
But when Saban came back to college football, and picked a team within LSU's division, the vitriol from Tiger fans escalated to another level.
Plus, Bama owned LSU for nearly a decade, starting with a national championship drubbing.
Once Saban leaves, Bama will regress to the mean of college football and won't dominate every year.
