Why We Win Saturday

First, penalties and turnovers cost us the game with Florida. That won't happen this week.
Second, Burrow had a bad game against Florida with two picks and a fumble. Sure, we had more than a few drops but he held the ball too long, stared down his receivers. Look for him to get the ball out much quicker. He is too good to have that happen two weeks in a row. I expect him to have a really good game, complete better than 60% of his passes with -0- turnovers.
Third, the defense didn't play well last week and don't forget that not having Phillips was a big factor. Phillips is back this week and Aranda will have them ready to play.
Fourth, look for us to run the ball effectively which will open up play action. Brossette should have a good game and he is much better than I think the majority of this board thought before the season. Remember his remarks after the Florida game, when he "refused to throw his O-line under the bus". You can best believe the O-Line heard that. Expect the O-Line to have one of their best games of this season.
Fifth, our special teams have been excellent. Our only deficiency (we have not muffed one punt) has been very little in the return game. Tracy, Von Rosenberg and Atkins have all been excellent.
Lastly, we are at home and expect the atmosphere to be electric.

Someone will need to step up on oline and take over Brumfield's role as leader of the line.
Brumfield was the one calling all the protections, that's why he is missed.

We're gonna have to make personnel changes in the wr corps. Maybe Andersons absence will push for more playing time for chase, etc. We are no threat in the air with Giles & co. Too inconsistent.

Hines did a good job at guard. Surprised they’re going with McGhee over him.

We're going to punch UGA in the face...LSU 28-24.

I was going to post this. Anderson has had big drops the last couple weeks. If he is out and Chase plays more and if we finally give up on the Giles experiment and put Marshall or Dillon in along with Sullivan and Jefferson I think we get addition by subtraction.
Florida's defensive speed on the edge was a bad match-up for our OTs last week. We are better vs power ends. That being said, Ensminger needs to incorporate more quick pass plays. The slow developing plays are going to get Burrow killed. I do like the quick roll outs and would like to see more.

We have the intangibles plus a better QB and kicker
That’s what wins games

I'm with you on turnovers, but LSU commits 6 penalties per game.
That's not magically going away.

If you think .2 penalties per game is an advantage, sure.

I saw 7.4 for uga but whatever, doesn’t matter it’s negated bc they have same slightly bigger prob with penalties than we do.
Most people would agree you Cant use it as a fricking negative against LSU when it’s as big or bigger problem for the opponent.
But hey, you be you baw.

I mean, he felt the pressure and started moving out of the pocket, but when the OL hardly brushes the DL rushing, there's not much Burrow can do. He made the throws to get us down the field for the tie. The OL didn't rush block and was inconsistent pass blocking, and the receivers were anti-clutch.
If we clean that up, yea we can do something this Saturday.
