I generally browse the pages of the Rant and just recently started posting. Having said that I'm sure I will get hammered for this but why aren't there more threads on the game tomorrow?
I understand we just beat Bama, and we are all still loving that moment. I don't think that should stop, but I don't want to overlook anyone. We are in control of our own destiny unlike most teams in the country. I sure hope (and am sure of) the players are more focused than the Rant on tomorrows game.

Question is will the margin of victory be 30s, 40s, or 50s? Do you consider any of that thread-worthy?

WE (the Rant) are not players, so it doesnt matter how focused we are...

There really isnt much to say about WKU is there?

Top ranked teams have been upset before. They aren't the worst team in the country or anything...I do think we will and should win by 30 but still think there could be some talk about them. I think they do have a good RB, which should fit well with our monster D-line. What do you think, we hold them to 3 points? I'm hoping for a shutout of epic proportions and some excellent play out of Lee to make sure he gets his groove back.

Stay focused on the task at hand. Sometimes its the underestimated opponant mixed with a big victory over bama then a little swelling of the head that can ruin a season. Remember, we have never played this team before. Always be prepared for the unexpected.

We just held Trent to less than 100, they can't pass, they average 21 a game in the Sun Belt, "We're The LSU".

It's being viewed exactly as it should be, glorified scrimmage. We get some practice with JJ running the option, they get 900,000$.

All I'm saying is UWK has everything to prove. We have 3 more hours of football to endure. I'm not saying they will beat us. I hardly see that happening, but next is Ole Miss then Arkansas. Play every game like its Alabama and don't let your guard down. Remember, playing teams better than you makes you better, same goes for teams worse than you I would suppose.

Does this help: I feel like we'll have more competition from Western Kentucky than Ole Piss.

+ 1

Also, I do not expect a shut-out.
I expect a lot of players to get playing experience and that sometimes takes away a shut-out.

In your comparison you forgot to compare that LSU team to this one, no comparison.

True Dat. Just consider it a headstart practice for next year. It will be interesting to see the line-up for the 2012 season. I wouldnt mind seeing Mattenberger toss a few.
