Hell, I don't know if Ohio State can beat Clemson. OU would be a tough matchup for whoever got #1. I personally prefer OU just because of how much bigger it would be putting those two storied programs together.

My dream scenario is LSU first round, but I just can't see LSU losing to UGA with that offense.

If for some reason LSU didn’t get in the playoff, imagine the shi ttiness the play would be in the bowl game. Don’t even mention the attendance.

We can just watch the Bama Memphis game and it would resemble what it would look like.

Ohio State versus LSU would bring in more viewers and money, even in a semifinal, than any other matchup would with the incredible storyline the media would hype up leading up to the game.

Just win and it doesn't matter. #geauxtigers

The committee has consistently defied the standards they have claimed they abide. The team knows they can't put their destiny in the hands of the committee. They'll handle business!

I'd expect it to be very similar to the UGA/Texas Sugar Bowl last year. UGA didn't want to be there and it showed. We'd play either OU or Baylor. I think there would be very little interest from our fans to attend that game.

I don't think LSU can beat Clemson if it is Clemson vs. LSU #2 vs. #3

I don't think OSU can beat Clemson or LSU. OSU is overrated. Thus the committee is putting LSU at #2 to take care of business to get OSU vs LSU in The title game. They know OSU would lose to Clem and there would be alot of money lost if OSU isn't in the title game

A half-dozen years ago I'm convinced our LSU baseball team didn't get the 64-team tournament invite because the powers that be thought it would be ridiculous and unfair for a fourth seeded baseball LSU show up and ruin the party for anyone of a number of top-seeded college baseball teams.

Baseball is completely different. The automatic qualifiers for a team winning their conference tournament dictates how many at-large bids are available. If the teams who are leading the conference and already going to get in don't win the tournament it takes away spots.

Thinking Ohio State, LSU, or Clemson is overrated is just a dumb opinion. It just means you haven't watched a second of CFB outside of LSU this year. I would say the same thing if some moron Ohio State fan came to ElevenWarriors and tried to say LSU was overrated.

Up until this past Tuesday night, I would've agreed with you. However, after seeing the lengths the committee will go to ensure the outcome they desire, I have absolutely zero faith that they would not drop us to the 5th spot.

Also figure in the fact that the National Championship is being played in New Orleans
Stones throw away from Baton Rouge

They may be thinking $$$

Just being realistic

But the Tigers are in a league of their own and WILL take care of business

I don't believe in that certainty at all. That committee is wildly erratic.
