Because most LSU basketball fans don't want Alleva to hire him. Why hire a guy who sparks very little interest with the fans that have gone through around 20 years of shitty basketball & shitty coaches.

Why not is yesterday's news. Johnny is LSU's basketball coach. I'm in. The guy can coach, period. That's more than I can say about the guy he is replacing.
