I’m an average, middle aged dude that played football through high school. Watched a lot of it and feel that I have a pretty strong (amateur) understanding of the game. I can pick up on trends and identities fairly quickly. Other tiger fans are, for the most part, pretty knowledgeable as a fan base. We’ve seen everything from Curly Hallman to 2019. To receive 5 interceptions (at home) and come up with 13 pts is an issue. We saw it. The press saw it. To call us “spoiled” was such egotistical and dismissive move on his part. We saw the issue from a mile away. F that guy.

I didn't like Kelly either, and he was a bad fit for LSU. But let's not pretend that Saban didn't say the same kind of things. He just had the champoinships to back up whatever he said. Here is one quote from Saban that is comparable - "When I came here everybody was happy to win a game. Right now we're not happy to win a game anymore, we're not happy to win a game at all. We think we should win games by whatever..." - Nick Saban

The huge difference is that Saban was in control of his program. He didn’t have patience for the media because his standard is what mattered, the media was just along for the ride. Kelly was a little bitch that got rattled when questioned.

spoiled presser was the absolute downfall of Kelly's tenure.

" you're spoiled"

" what more do you want?"

" what do you mean we cannot run?"

" did you see that run at the end of the game?"
