Why it is time to separate from Les Miles

Yes, another post about why it is time for LSU Football to make a change and cut ties with Les Miles.
We have been on a great journey with Coach Miles and had our fare share of ups and downs. He has an outstanding statistical record with our program and is a great person within the LSU community. Right now is the perfect time to make the switch, before the game completely passes him up and his refusal to change causes this program to turn into the next Texas or Tennessee.
Some reasons why i want him out:
1) I want to remember Miles as a winner, not a loser. All it would take is a couple 7 win seasons to completely ruin what all Miles has done for this University and fully tarnish his image. We should send him on his way before we witness a major crash..
2) The excitement around a coaching change. I get excited every time we start looking for a new OC or a new DC just out of curiosity and hope for a big name. The Search for a new Head Coach would have this town glued to all forms of media 24/7. Also a new head coach at this University is huge for College Football.
3) New found hope. Every off season we get all this hope and anticipation around our athletes as we cant wait to see what they can do. But at some point during the season we are left dissatisfied with our team and its usually not because of the athletes.. The off season hype around a big name hire would add even more to the thrill and excitement of a new season.
LSU football every year is like having your car in the shop for 6 months during the off season. Then the day comes and you finally get to take it to the racing track. It has this brand new paint job, new tires, its freshly waxed and you have all the bells and whistles. Then you sit down, hit the gas and just putter down the track. You dont finish last and you dont finish first. You have one of the most expensive cars out there and it looks better than most but you still feel like you should have finished first. Whats the problem? Well the time has come where you need to invest in a new engine.
Of course a new hire is risky but sometimes you have to take a chance.
My dream hire, Jimbo Fisher. An offensive guru who is disciplined and lets his coaches coach.

I love Les Miles, the man. However, I've become ill towards Les Miles, the coach.

Let me see - 10 posts and you have been member of this site since this Summer? You obviously were not an LSU fan in 1979, 1983, 1987, 1991, 1995 or 1999. If you were, you would remember all of the coaches searches from those years. 6 coaches in 20 years. It was horrible. Even Little Nicky lost 4 games his first year, 3 his second year and 5 his third year. That was 12 losses in 3 years. Do you even remember the last time LSU had to search for a coach? Do you even know what our season will look like for the first 2 - 3 years after we change coaches? I am not real happy with Miles and his coaches right now, but I am sick of the lack of support for the LSU football team right now.
Glad you aren't on the LSU board.

Stop trying to make Jimbo happen it will more than likely not happen. You are setting yourself up to be disappointed.

No i have been a member since 2007 but i embarrassingly forgot my password because i had it automatically logged in on my laptop for so long i never typed it, so i had to make a new account..
Also making a change now as opposed to later would be beneficial with the fact that even Miles can win enough games with out talent. Do you really believe that we will hire a guy who can somehow lose more games than him with our caliber of players? If you believe a stock is going to crash...then you dont wait until it does to sell it! You sell when a dip is occurring.
You cant tell me that you truly dont believe this program had been and is slipping.

Two weeks ago we were 7-0 and number 2 in the country. We lose two games and you want our coach fired. How do you think that looks to other potential HC? Hey you better win every fricking game or we will be calling for your head

It's the opposite for me. I'm cool with one bad loss every year as long as we are competitive in the division and win it every other year or so. That's basically what Bama does. Winning the SEC with 1 loss basically guarantees a playoff spot, so I don't give a rats arse if we lose to Arkansas.

I don't want to watch Les Mile peter out like Mack Brown, but at the same time i would give him next year and see where that huge 2013 class can really take us.

Two week ago our signature win was Florida...who kicked 3 field goals at home to beat Vanderbilt 9-7. I dont understand why I, along with everyone else felt like we were so freaking good. I guess for demolishing Auburn and escaping Mississippi State early on. Plus the way fournette was playing didnt hurt
Also its a combination of the way LSU Football has been the past few years. What wrong with wanting more instead of settling for good enough. All the people that say hey at least we are better now than we were in the 90s. I want to be dominate like i know our program is and can be.

Post count has nothing to do with the relevancy of one's opinion on a message board. So he doesn't have 1/3 of a million posts like SlowFloPro? It's not like there's a lifetime achievement award for pissing away time in front of a laptop.

History repeats itself as it always does. Same crap when Mac was the coach and they finally got rid of Mac and then LSU went into the toilet for years. Stovall, Arnsparger, Archer, Hallman, DiNardo and then Saban and Miles. Nebraska going through the same route and looks like Texas will also. New Coach and 4-8 on the way and book it!!

He just couldnt find anything else to say. So he believes my post count relates to my knowledge and justification of an opinion.

My first LSU football game was in 1954 ! ! ! I've seen it all ! ! ! I like Les, BUT . . . . I think, if he ever had that fire in his belly, he doesn't have it any more. He's a vey rich man that's lost that fire in his belly.

Be careful of Jimbo Fisher. he may not be all you think he is.
Jameis Winston made him look really smart.
I hated his "screens" always to a man behind the line 4 yards back, never went anywhere.
Now,
I am not saying he is a bad coach, just that he may not be the guru he is made out to be.
I do believe he is a solid coach and I like his age.
He would be a qualified option for sure, but there are others.
