Of qbs cant connect on simple passes, its doesnt matter if you have Jerry Rice, Megatron, and barry sanders.
Does this mean our staff can't scout capable qbs?
And going back to 2011...the only 2 defenses we faced were UGA and Bama. With the exception of the 2nd half in the SEC championship game our offense was completely dominated in the other 10 quarters. I said it then and will say it again...when we face talented defenses that can man up against the run we struggle. It doesn't matter who the QB is and it has gone on for years. Our coaches have no answer for these games. We basically go into the game handcuffed because our passing game is usually inept. Everyone who knows CFB has always said this is What holds LSU back every year...yet CLM apologists always want to stick their heads in the sand and blame it on not executing the offense rather than facing reality that we just aren't prepared to win games with the pass.

It's not a bad thing. I don't think coaching is the issue either, honestly, or at least it's not an issue that can really be addressed. We're just really unlucky right now to be in the middle of what might end up as the greatest dynasty of all time, from another team in our division, coached by the man who has a pretty realistic chance to be remembered as the GOAT college football head coach. I think if Alabama were just another Georgia, LSU has at least one title and maybe two in the past four years (how quickly we forget how close 2012 was!).
Of course, that doesn't change the bottom line. It's probably unfair to Miles and his staff that they're expected to hold serve against the GOAT, but that's the situation we're in. And it's not like they've been without major systemic errors and simply just not been as good as Saban at Alabama; there are serious long-term weaknesses at the QB position that have hampered this program, weaknesses that it's reasonable to expect a highly-paid, highly-experienced coaching staff not to have.
So I end up thinking that I can understand where people are coming from with wanting better than what Miles brings us, but at the same time, I'm not really convinced it's out there. We could do better at QB but the truth is that it would be a lot more likely that we frick it up and do worse by changing regimes right now. That's just an acknowledgment of fact, not resignation to mediocrity; we've shown we can compete with Bama even though they're in the midst of a historic run, and I think we could very well end their run if we could just fix the damn QB problems.

there are some posters on this board who are more fans of Miles than of LSU.
I doubt it. Just like there are posters that want LSU to lose enough so Les gets shown the door.
I like Les because he is the head coach of the team I pull for. I didn't pull for Oklahoma state when he was there.

And some teams aren't prepared to hold onto leads with the run. Look at tamu for example. They were one dimensional.
I think everyone would like a more balanced offense.

which have cost us dearly at beating our biggest rival, making it to a BCS bowl game, or god forbid, win another NC.....all of that falls squarely on Miles.
I know your kind is thrilled with the Music Schitty Bowl or WTF ever it's called.
But we've beat our rivals, we've been to bcs bowl games.
The bcs is dead so that ain happening, but its not like that was happening every year under other coaches. I'm still trying to grasp why LSU should be winning championships every year when no other program or coach does that. What makes LSU diff?

Well whether you like it or not your boy screwed the pooch one way or another. Some say ( in this thread) that BH didn't know the offense. If that IS the case why in the hell would any coaching staff start him in our first sec road game against a top 5 team? If it wasn't the case how in the hell does he not get any significant playing time since the Auburn game...AJ did nothing to keep BH off the field.
I honestly have no idea. Maybe off the field issues? I don't know? I never said qb wasn't a problem. I'm just not ready to blow the whole thing up and take a recruiting hit with the class we just brought in. I know Les has gotten us there and he can maybe do it again. If we don't improve the next 2 seasons I'll be ready to move on.

So does every other program. Did you see how we shut Bama the frick down this year? With 47 seconds to go in the game, bama had 230 yards of offense.

Not one poster has said we are thrilled with the Music City bowl. But we have a chance at finishing in the top 20 while playing the 2nd most true freshman in the sec. Thats our down years. miles has built this program up so much that a top 20 ranked season is our down years. Lsu is 1 of 4 programs to win 9 games each of the last 5 seasons.

Yeah that's what happens against good defenses. We just happen to play against some good ones. When ours came around. Teams struggled against us and had no problem against others.

To those of you who didn't go to LSU and think Miles is a problem: you're all a bunch of idiots. Your opinions are baseless, and to believe them, you must actively ignore the following indisputable facts:
- Les Miles is the most successful LSU football coach ever.
- Les Miles' LSU tenure is one of the 25 most successful tenures in the history of college football.
You have no affiliation with LSU other than your juvenile wardrobe, and no one of any importance considers your opinions to be of any value. If you are unhappy when you watch LSU football under the current regime, rest assured that LSU football will never make you happy. Never will you see another coach glean (no way you savages know what that word means or why it isn't a great word choice in this instance) as much success as Les has.
You are mathematically wrong. We are mathematically right. This is not subjective or up for debate. We are better than you. You don't matter, and you are reluctant to accept that. We don't matter, and we are fine with that because we have figured out how to have fun watching LSU football because we are at least somewhat adult about this.
If you didn't go to LSU and you bash anyone affiliated with our university and its teams, frick you. You're the same as Gumps, Leghumpers, Piggies, Weebels, Gayturds, etc.
When LSU loses, you are angry. When LSU wins, you are angry. You always lose. You are losers.
I piss and shite sunshine, and if you don't like it, go frick yourselves. Geaux Tigers.

Are you still on this issue at almost 2 am in the morning?
You must be out of your mind.
If you think that the rest of the fans of the SEC are afraid of Les Miles at LSU and wish he would leave, so they would have a chance to win more games, then, I respect your opinion.
However, my observations give me a different impression.
You filthy mouth and abusive tactics don't make you at all persuasive. In fact, it makes you seem like everything that's wrong with a small portion of the LSU football fanbase: ignorant, abusive, drunk, stupid, and, when you don't get your way -- violent.
That's no way to go through life, son.

You going to post the records of other teams without "cupcakes" too? Or is this where we act like lsu is the only team that plays less talented teams?

You can't bring FACTS like that here to the sunshine pumpers........... They will never understand what an awesome statement this is
