Dawkins is connected to people who are major criminals, with hands in many pockets doing all kinds of nefarious things. Wade and Miller are helping the FBI to squeeze Dawkins so he gives his bosses up. That’s what’s really going on it has nothing to do with basketball.

It's not even an NCAA investigation. It would have probably been a non-issue until yahoo decided to make it a big story that drops the day after LSU goes undefeated in conference play on the road, with one game left...
And then you have some jackass at USAtoday writing an article about how LSU should not go to the tournament and fire coach wade.

So your theory is that Wade and Miller are helping the FBI? Because Wade and Miller were subpoenaed by Dawkins’ attorney. The FBI didn’t call Wade or Miller; how exactly are they helping to squeeze Dawkins? They are called as witnesses FOR Dawkins defense.

That's exactly what I've been struggling to understand. It honestly seems like wasted money and resources on the part of the FBI. It's quite baffling to say the least.
