Why is it so believable
That LSU will play the rest of the season like the second half and the last two years instead of playing the rest of the season like the first
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I'm saying nothing has changed in the last 2 years and this past game so why should ANYONE expect a change this season?

Despite what everyone thinks, we made tons of mistakes in the first half. We just ignored them because we got some big plays against a depleted defense.
LSU showed flashes in the first half, but no consistency. Our longest scorin drive of the game was 51 yards and it was 1 play. Second longest? 50 yards and 1 play. Third longest? 30 yards after a fumble.
So we showed that we need big plays to score against a depleted team in the first half and you can't depend purely on big plays to be a championship level (SEC or nationally) team.

because it is the way they have been playing for the last 2 seasons with promises that it is going to get fixed. There is always something that needs to be fixed.
And They didnt really play that great in the first half, we had three big plays and that was it. We are not capable of having sustained drives for some damn reason. Yes i know that big plays count and you have to include them, Im just saying you cant count on them. Chances are you are not gonna have that many every game. You have to be able to drive the ball down the field and so far they have show no sign that they can do that. They havent done it with any consistency in a very long time
PLEASE STOP NOW!!!!

LMAO...this same guy was on here last year complaining about lack of big plays...........hahahahahahahahhaha good god.
are you really that stupid??? Can you not actually "think" about what he is trying to say? Is he complaining about the big plays? is anyone complaining about the big plays? This is a discussion about "sustaining drives"...which...news flash...is NOT what a big play is. I would love 10 big plays a game, but thats not reality, in reality you have to have the ability to move the football down the field, which is something we struggle with at the moment.

After watching LSU jump over a snake Saturday, I'm convinced Les lives under a star and this is one of those teams of "Destiny." Won the game by Devine Intervention.

You have to have more than big plays and so far we havent show we have the ability to drive the field

More people should think like this. Unfortunately too many people have to jump to extremes after a small sample.

Also, two of our scores were one-play "drives."
14 points. i'll take it. you recruit playmakers to make big plays. if we are a big play offense, then so be it. there are a lot of teams in the country that can drive the ball but don't have the players to make big plays.
just score the ball. 30 should be enough to win most games. my issue isn't with driving the ball, just let the playmakers touch it more. shep five touches 2 t.d.s. give it to him close 15 times. we are doing well with p.p. and r.r. touches.

longest drives of the game, in minutes....
UNC's was 7:34, 13 plays for 82yds
LSU's was 5:01, 12 plays for 21 yds
---over 20% of our plays came from this drive, that resulted in 0 points and 21 yds....
