Why is everyone whining about that personal foul at the end?

We didn't gain a yard on that drive. We could have started the drive on the GOAL LINE and it would not have mattered.

Whining about that penalty is dumb, but not for the reason you gave.
The 3rd down play was to center the ball on the field for fricks sake. It would have been a totally different series if Alexander didn't lose his cool.

If the ball is 2nd and goal at the 5, we at least have the semblance of a play action pass (see Ole Miss) and we still have enough momentum that we might punch it in. On 2nd and 20, we were done, and in fact kneeled the ball in the middle of the field on 3rd down.

Why do you act to know football??? After personal foul why would you throw the ball with less than a minute left well in field goal range?? You run it 3 times to burn clock and kick field goal......geez kid

That penalty changed the drive. 3 plays from the 7, you try to get a TD. 3 plays from beyond the 20 at that point in the game, you play for the FG.

Because it sucked...it looked like just about every player was pushing each other after the whistle blew. Should have been off-setting or a no call...

Because bama did the same shite all night and didn't get called. No interference call at the end. It's a double standard that I'm sick of. They tore Jennings face mask off and it wasn't called. Bama fans can kiss my arse! Cry a river over that bitch!

I couldn't get excited when we recovered the fumble because I knew we wouldn't score a touchdown. We played for the field goal as soon as we got possession. fricking loser football

On 2nd or 3rd the offense may have tried something different from the 6 than they did on the 21. Slight chance, but it's still there.

obviously this is the correct answer. It was the right call. Things were totally different from the 5 yard line. You have to understand the OP though, just read through some of his posts, and you'll see this point is pretty far over his head.

You are either marginally good at trolling or you have absolutely zero football knowledge.
