You’ll find on this board that recent performance is outweighed by historical performance.

My take here is Curiel gets at least another game or 2 at lead off to figure it out…..if not I’m jumping on that train with you. My thing is who the hell would bat lead off. My guess is he would go Dickinson who is struggling as well……or he could go crazy and go Stanfield but I’m not sure I like anything that drastic at this point in the season.

He's the best player on LSU's team and LSU feeds off him when he's playing good. If you want LSU going anywhere this year Curiel needs to be hot.

You’ll get down voted to shite but he’s 2-44 by my count since he’s game steak was broken. Teams finally have scouting reports and they found his weakness. Went from right under .430 to .320 in a month at the end of the year. The facts speak for them self. He’s not that guy anymore. Even the balls he puts in play are weak. None out the infield tonight for example. He’ll be one of the best to ever do it but right now he’s an instant out at leadoff and we can’t keep doing that. We just can’t.

He went 4 for 4 with a home run, two doubles, a walk and five RBIs the game after his streak broke.

No one can take any part of your post seriously. It’s fake news.

I clearly said by my count. Ok so let’s count after the game after he lost the streak. Fact is he’s batting average has went from 420ish to 320ish in 4 series. So I’m glad he’s a lover of yours but the dude is in just as an epic slump as we was on an epic hot streak to start the year. He’s a liability and I’ll ban bet you he goes 0-4 tomorrow. Big man taking things serious.

If you do that he’s 4-33. Not 2-44. As has been pointed out your count is stupid lol.

6-35 offically since he broke his on base streak. .171 average. Yeah he should be lead off for LSU.

6-35 offically since game steak broken. .171 average. So my point that he can’t hit a beach ball and shouldn’t be in the lead off spot is more valid than you’re oh your count is broke.

On base % is more important for a lead off. What's his on base % in those that time frame?

I do think they scouted him a bit as a freshman but I've seen him taking solid swings and just get really unlucky with them hitting gaps. I don't know what his on base is but doesn't feel like he's struggling to get on base even with the lower bat %.

I’m not talking about the one that went over the fence . I’m talking about the one that went over his head and bounced off the middle of the wall.

I said by my count in my head. Offically from the box scores of each game is he’s 6-35. So my main point is he shouldn’t be in leadoff and he’s in a major slump. Your point is my count was off by a couple at bats. Good job bro you so won congrats. You’re the best.
