Because They Cheat Better Than Everyone Else

Genetics. They recruit the best of the best with the best genetics to play the game, get stronger and faster, etc. Their strength coach, a moffit disciple, is pretty damn good as well.
They also have a coach that gets the most out of them, knowing that their starting position can be taken and filled anytime by someone with little drop off. That will motivate.
As people talking about steroids, there's people that do them on every major college football team. The NCAA PED testing is shite and you can do them with little risk. I personally know an LSU player who was on throughout high school and his college career.
When you start getting players who weigh 220-230 who're bench pressing 500 pounds raw, a light should go off. I've competed in powerlifting competitions nationally for 10+ years and everyone I've met who can push that much out has been on PED's. Regardless of weight, but usually 260+ guys.
I'm not saying it isn't possible, especially for a 300 pound guy or so, but that's an epic amount of weight for the upper body on any structure, obviously.
Trent Richardson was on at Bama. I think that explains his drop off in the NFL. Stricter drug testing with bigger/stronger players he can't manhandle. His vision hurts him as well, but that's a different story.
Look how much softer he looks at the same weight, in comparison to his college days at 5'9 230+ with probably 10-11% body fat.
And Danielle Hunter
C'mon man.

Danielle looks like a fricking monster
I can't believe that dude left LSU with like 2 and a half career sacks. He has like 9 and a half sacks for Minnesota AND HE'S A BACKUP END. Start that man Minnesota! Him and Everson Griffen coming off the ends would be nasty. Have Brian Robison rotate in.

And you can guarantee that Saban only has the best of the best hired from their coaches to football ops to the guy who does laundry.

Not only the power and strength but they never get tired. I feel as though some of it is talent but one day I think it all comes out and it will be Lance Armstrong like in relation. A team can be dominant a couple of years but not a decade with out chemical help. JMO.

I don't know, but most of them suck in the NFL. I know that for sure.

Not the only thing, but the first and key thing:
Buy in by the players and discipline by the coaches/leaders to enforce.
Working out isn't a choice, it is a duty to the team.
It is not personal, it is a fundamental concept.
If you are a OL, and you're not hitting it as hard as the others you will not have the respect of them. It will be noticed.
Sure they have some who don't buy in and choose not to participate fully. But they die on the vine, firstly with the other players. Secondly, they die on the coaching vine.

Nick's agent made sure that the contract with Lucifer had a clause that stated that all players will be at top physical strength.

Saban is the best coach in college football history. By a lot.

Eight consecutive No. 1 recruiting classes. For starters.

Because Moffitt isn't pushed to succeed anymore.
Because we made excuses and accepted mediocrity when saban left.
I remember reading about how devastated the players were in 2005 when they lost to Tenn. The article said Miles was like, "guys it's just one game. The season isn't over." Well, that year that was the one regular season game that kept us from going undefeated.
Even at the beginning les was pushing this team toward mediocrity. But good thing for him Saban had instilled himself on the team. That made les look very good and a lot of money for the next couple years.

Im sure the S&C coach is good, but thats not why.
Saban recruits physical mature kids.
You remember the kid that had a full beard in the 9th grade.
He recruits that guy who has athletic skills.
We all have skill players who are fast, but Bama at the OL and DL positions are the best of the best out of High School. Saban gets the best and he doesnt miss.
Think back to when Saban was at LSU, same story.
Our D line and O line was not going to get man handled.
