Nuss can still get majority of reps with 1’s and have JD5 play a quarter. Let the fans have a quarter curtain call for our Heisman and Our number 1 ranked receiver group!

Kinda hoping he just plays a series or two and hangs out with the guys on the sideline.
See this so the only thing I don’t want him to do. This takes away practice snaps from next years guys just so he can play a little. I say either play him like normal or don’t play him at all.

As a LSU fan #4 is by far and large the most important.
Thanks JD for all you did but it time to move on to the next guy

You guys are morons. You aren’t a fan of the team if you want the best player in the country to skip a game in which your team is playing.
We have all of spring practice, summer, and fall camp to find our next quarterback. I want to finish this season with a win, making 10 wins on the year, while blowing the doors off of a Slow 10 team.

Quite possibly this dumbest thing you could type
A meaningless fricking bowl game vs a new season with new qb.
Daniels has nothing left to prove .
Nuss needs all Snaps he can get bc he sure as F didn’t get many this season.
I’m not a “fan” of the team bc I want the guy that’s most likely gonna start next year to get more reps?????interesting.
Geez … it’s really not that difficult of a concept to grasp.

if he absolutely craps the bed it could hurt him.
doubtful. I think NFL teams would be more impressed that he is a great teammate for playing.

Would love to see him play one more game and go nuts, but getting Nuss a full 15 practices and a complete game against a legit opponent would be great for jump starting next season

So last year when Jayden was also the starter and it was still the 2022 season why did he and Nuss alternate drives? That was with him likely coming back by the way making your point even more stupid.
Out of curiosity, did you notice that Jayden Daniels was injured in the TAMU and UGA games? Also, are you comparing the QB situation from the 2022 season to the one we have now?
I really do not understand any LSU Tiger fan not wanting to see the Heisman Trophy winner play as many times as possible for LSU.
Would I understand completely if he opts out of the game? YES.
But I cannot fathom why anyone that claims to be a Tiger fan would not want to watch Jayden Daniels play one more time.
Three weeks of bowl practice with players who may or may not even be at LSU next year is not going to have any impact whatsoever on how the offense shapes up going into the spring and fall camps. Is practice time beneficial? Yes. Does anyone actually know how football practice works? Apparently not. Whether JD5 is practicing or not, Nussmeier will get a crap ton of reps during these three weeks.

I am probably forgetting something along the way, but where have you seen something like this in practice?
In 2001, Rohan Davey was graduating. Should he have let Matt Mauck take the reins for the 2001 Sugar Bowl?
In 2006, Jamarcus Russell was obviously leaving for the pros. Should he have stepped aside for Flynn the 2006 Sugar Bowl?
