He threw what 15 pitches nothing is burned you likely weren’t going to see him till Sunday anyway. This was a bullpen.

Well, alteast he didn’t use him too much. He should be available Sunday for sure if needed.

The only guys out of the own tomorrow will be Hess Fontenot and Peterson.

No, but innings add up. If we should fall into the losers bracket tomorrow, every inning you can save your arms is important.

You don't get 14 run leads everyday. This was an opportunity to save innings, not "let's get some guys in". That's what midweek games are for.

Vietmeier is pitching well.

He’s keeping everything low in the zone and a more friendly ump may have called some of those just missed balls as strikes.
