To everyone saying it's "a slap in the face" Broyles was picked ahead of Rueben obviously didn't watch college football the past 4 years.

I live in Oklahoma and went to high school with Broyles. Dude is a beast. He will be a quicker Wes Welker. Slot machine. Catch master.

He's good.

yes he's amazing, but drafting a guy who just tore up his knee a few months ago in the 2nd round is an unbelievable gamble. i felt horrible for broyles when it happened because the kid is amazing, but that's some speculative strategy to draft him that high

Sorry someone who actually watched 90% of Broyles's games this over his career offered an opinion.

Wes Welker tore his up and turned out fine. Hopefully Broyles won't be a Thomas Davis and tear it multiple times. If not, the Lions got a perfect complement to Calvin.

And draft experts and whomever sends out the invitations to NY, but other than that, you're right.

My apologies... I'm just not sure about taking a gamble on a WR who is healthy over one who is coming off an injury.

I don't know if it's selective quoting, or if it's just that your reading comprehension sucks that bad...but either way...read it again...slowly.

No reason to reread. What you said is dumb. If a team needs a wr and you have a wr graded high, it's NOT dumb to take said receiver and pretty much every gm and scout agrees with me. Sorry. I still love ya bruh

Bingo. Prob could've gotten him in the third as well. You expect second round picks to contribute immediately. You don't Even really know how he will fully heal.

What? In just about every mock draft had him just outside the 1st round.

What I said was spot on, you just refuse to note exactly what I said. I said "just about any WR", specifically with Calvin Johnson in mind with that said. And yes, Larry Fitzgerald fits that mold as well. But there isn't a Calvin Johnson or Larry Fitz in this draft...yet all these teams picking decent WRs instead of making quality picks.

And no...I do NOT love you anymore.
