yet, if it moves west the game can quickly be postponed or cancelled. the likelihood is the game will start on time or be delayed a few hours. tv will be the most affected.

now, if it moves west a little our team will be hunkered down in a hotel. that is not good. but the hurricane is not going to just dart left and slam Gainesville. remember, by the end of today a much more accurate track will be available.

TINFOILHAT [ON]\OFF

5 of 7 players in UF's front 7 are out. Their starting QB is wearing a leg brace. If the game is cancelled, it has to be made up later, even if its the week before the SECCG.

So UF gets a free bye to get healthy, and then gets to play later when they may have an opportunity to play for a championship. If they agree to move the game, then they have to play with the players they have available today.

Well they can't make it up the week before the sec title game. Both LSU and UF have games.

You could cancel the non conf games the week before but LSU plays A&M on that Thursday. If we force them to Saturday then I don't think that is a terrible plan.

It will not be made up later. That's not an option.

It's really about resources needed to put on a game in the first place

I can't understand how so many people don't get this. We get that the weather isn't going to be too bad. But you are pulling resources from areas that will need it in a state that has declared a state of emergency. All for a football game.

Not a good look.

Damn I thought we had a week between the CG. I just looked at the calendar.

So LSU is supposed to give up a home game because Florida?

Joe needs to tell them to pound sand.

No, Florida wants the game cancelled. That's how they see it. We are their toughest sec opponent remaining, and are 3 point favorites on their field and would be 8-10 in BR. They expect Tenn to lose to bama and a&m. They don't need a win, but can't take a loss.

So were going to play football in the daytime with no power?
What are the coaches going to run a string and cans from the sideline to press boxes?

That's a horseshite excuse.

I hope someone can find a UF official that said it.

We both have ooc games on the same date. The league would have to pay everything but I think that is what Florida wants or worse UF wants to cancel so they can game the sec race which is bullshite. Sankey is unfit to be a commissioner if he is going to allow UF to game the system. LSU,UT,Bama and ole miss should all be pissed. The sec race is going to be all jacked up with LSU and UF having one less sec game

It helps Florida playing one less game. It hurts LSU.

This. Play Sunday or Monday.

Screw giving up a home game because Florida.

And why should we lose a home game? UF doesn't want to.

We have Joe alleva, the man canceled a lacrosse season over a stripper.

The sec is at fault here though because Sankey is a stupid bitch.

Also it would be better for us in the sec race to play assuming we win out.

How many people will die because the 10 EMT teams and 100 police officers necessary to handle the game aren't available to be deployed to the affected areas of Florida? These people are worse than stupid. They're criminals.

King Alexander already came out and said that moving it to Sunday is highly unlikely. WHY???? Why not move it to Sunday?
