Nails it!

Or, you could stay for the entire game, the alma mater, and then go talk to someone about the game.....like a friend. Maybe have a beer and a bite to eat??? If you hang around about an hour after the game, you can have an easy ride home. So sit in your car for an hour if you want, but I'd rather watch the entire game and wait traffic out.

No excuses! For a fanbase that prides itself on being the "best" in college football y'all SUCK!! It's embarrassing really!!

It aint always traffic, when I bring my kids to the game, and they become tired and restless, I have to leave. I enjoy the games and want to stay thru the whole game even in blowouts. Love bringing my kids a few times a year. Although not my choice, sometimes it happens that way.
I know you dont care about this part but if I pay dearly for my contributions and tix, I will use them as I please.

Traffic or no traffic, people are still going to leave early. It's too hot, it's too cold, the game is too long, it's a blowout, too drunk, not drunk enough, it will always be something.

I stayed the whole game and made it to Breaux Bridge by 11:30.

BULL CRAP.
For both MSU and Mizzou games I have left after the last whistle and the traffic was nothing worse than typical BR traffic. Actually better with cops direcing and contraflow.
If thats your pansy excuse, then give your ticket to someone who will actually appreciate it and sit your lazy butt at home.

Then they need to close off the right lane on i10 west over the lake so that the Dalrymple on ramp can freely flow onto the interstate.
Which would just move the bottleneck back to Stanford.
The real answer is for people to have some situational awareness. If you need to go east, park in a lot that allows you to go east. If you need to go west, park in a lot that exits to the west. There's a map for this on the LSU sports website. Apparently that's too much effort for most of our fans. They'd rather leave early and bitch the next day about how bad the traffic was.

If Les would stop running such a boring, predictable offense and give us something to be excited about maybe we'd stay longer than a half.

No it wouldn't.

I agree. And I do this exactly. I'm just stating there are ways that the flow could be improved by more restrictions of direction of flow and where you can or can't turn.

Agreed, this is total bullshite. We drove in and parked in 15 minutes, stayed for the whole game, then it only took 20 minutes to get off of campus. This year has been the quickest and easiest to travel to and from in the past 15 years, no exaggeration.
Leaving early and complaining about the traffic from all of the other pansies who leave early is beta af.

I wish I could upvote this more than once.

Like it or not it's the night games... students want to go out and others have to get home for whatever reason (kids, sitter, old). Yeah traffic sucks but that's just the beginning of it.

The answer? You have a 90+ capacity stadium and lousy access roads in and out of the venue. Politicians appropriate money to upgrade the stadium into a magnificent venue, but fail to build the access roads. Folks leave early cause they don't want to get caught in gridlock for hours on end.
Chronic problem that has plagued Louisiana for years. The State Legislature always goes cheap on the roads and highways.

So you're saying if they would build the roads you speak of then no one would leave early and the the stadium would stay packed until 00:00?

We stayed until the end. Had zero problem getting out and in interstate. Was parked at the cow palace.

Sitting in traffic is part of going to a game.
If you don't want to sit in traffic why even go?

I left in the third quarter because the jambalaya in the stadium gave me wicked heart burn. I was practically jogging across campus to get to CVS.
