the NFL will give people like Hunt a second chance... if you have talent, they will pay.

Ever hear of Maurice Carett? He tried it and it cost him. However that was a long time ago in millennial years - like the early 2000’s so you know things have changed.

I agree!! 10 years ago no player would ever sit out a bowl game!!! You can thank LF7 for this!!

At least Fournette was dealing with a lingering leg injury when he sat out. Greedy just doesn’t have the chest apparently. Guess he’s ok going out on a loss where the DBs got abused for 74 points.

I understand both sides of the argument.people are saying let him go ,it's only a meaningless bowl game. but I promise you that those will be the first people screaming to fire the head coach it LSU gets beat because UCF threw for 400 yards.

I mean I'm not mad the company I work for makes money off me for the work that I do for them. With student athletes their pay is their free ride

Are you mad at coworkers that leave a subsistence wage company to go to work at a company that pays 1-2 orders of magnitude higher in wages with less restrictions and better benefits?

Why do people care if these guys sit out a meaningless bowl game??

Hell if you are not in the playoff these bowl games are nothing but glorified scrimmages.

I would not care one bit if every player who is not going to be in the team next year, NFL or not, satnout and the coaches used the entire month of practice and the game as prep for next season.

We’ve had a few highly regarded players come down with mysterious injuries for the majority of their junior season.

Draft prospects. And they are vetted before the league throws a bunch of cash at them. For instance talent wise R Foster was as good as it gets at LB. A top 6 pick type but he fell to last one or two in the first round. And obviously for good reason. A gifted warrior with a willing work ethic but his warrior mentality doesn't stop when he leaves the field. The woods are full of guys like that..million dollar body and a 100 dollar head.

. Dude - this is a guaranteed Top 10 pick that has a child. He had one silly incident in school and came back with a vengeance by working hard and dedicating himself to be the best corner and arguably the best defensive back in the SEC and maybe the nation. He is 6’3 with very like sub 4.4 speed and unbelievable hips.
No man - the NFL isn’t going to “judge him” for not freaking showing up for a bowl game.

WTH.
