You mean 2014 when we scored 13 point in a whole game with an overtime and the defense giving us the ball on their yard line in a 10-10 game and our only TD came on a short field?
Are you saying any game where the other team wins on the last drive is the defenses fault? No matter how few points the offense scores? No matter how bad the offense is?
Even if the offense is bad all year and the only reason we are in the game in the first place is thendefense?

in 2012 we lost 21-17 and bama scored at the end of each half was the game I was really comparing to your example that a 21-17 loss is all on the offense.
2014 was the OT loss.

Thats what it sounds like.
If the defense scores 2 defensive tds and the offense scores zero and we lose 17-14, its the defense.

I’m Not saying the defense is NEVER to blame.
And that sometimes the defense and offense aren’t both to blame (we lost 37-0 to Miss St)
In 2012 17 points on Bama’s defense probably could have been considered a good performance. So yeah I probably Blamed the defense for that one.
But 19 vs Florida, 17 vs Notre Dame and 24 vs A&M in regulation isn’t good enough. They aren’t good performances.
But realistically I still don’t blame the offense VS A&M or the defense.
I think we played well enough to win that game and I firmly Believe we got screwed by the refs.

So taking into account that the defense is the only reason we even had a lead in the 4th quarter, they had stopped a&m 4 straight times and handed then offense the ball, and they needed 1 1st down( just one and all they could muster was 5 yards with the sugar bowl on the line) you put the blame on the defense?
Lets see the last 4 possessions before the game tying td for both offense and defense
Lsu offense
Punt- loss for offense
Punt-loss for offense
Td - win for the offense
Punt- loss for the offense
lsu defense
Negative offensive yards punt- win for the defense
Defensive td= win for lsu offense and defense
Negative offensive yards punt- win for the defense
Stopped on 4th down- win for the defense
If you see this and put more blame on the defense, you dont understand football.
The defense won all 4 of its battles before the past possession.
The offense lost all but 1.
Youre making the defense be perfect for 5 straight drives because the offense was crap.
