This is what you get when you deify a coach who doesn’t win championships. No other blue blood program in any sport worships mediocrity like LSU fans do and this habit results in complacency and entitlement from the leadership. In 2011 when he admitted he’d taken 2010 off for a victory lap he erased any slack that 09 title provided him. He proved that unless his feet are held to the fire he would never have the urgency and hunger it takes to stay at the top of the college baseball world.

I appreciate all he has done. I really think the loss of his dad was the straw that broke the camels back for him. He just looks checked out, and i don’t blame him. It’s got to be rough for him right now.

I just dont see how all others believe we were a top team to have lsu at no.1. We have a team built for speed though we hardly ever steal. We cant throw nobody else. Almost in all offense catagories we are 10 or below in sec, and pitching isnt much better, how do you start a season with basically no left handers in pitching. All these are coaching . It is time for a change at head coaching
