True but also, now that it went on so long, you can't eliminate coaching from the equation. I mean yeah. Maybe he's some kind of savant at shitty QB recruiting. But, JL was given a look by an NFL team meaning that someone thought he at least had potential.

Think about how many college QBs with GOOD numbers in college never even get such a look and you have to start wondering if that poor QB play while at LSU is all a result of the QB's talent? Especially now that we're seeing it repeat itself with 2 more decent to highly rated QBs(not to mention the one who transferred that was highly rated).

At some point, when a coach keeps getting mediocre results from guys who were considered well rated before arrival, you have to start wondering why that is(other than just assuming they all sucked).

When Brandon gets the system down (PT, playbook knowledge, etc) he will get the nod. Cam did not recruit him to hand the ball off 80% of the GP. This kid is 18 with NFL arm talent already. When Cam gets him ready, watch out, he will be take us to the next level.

Of our top 9 passing seasons in LSU history, 5 of those seasons came under Miles.

mind blown? link? Is top 9 based on total yardage?

Can't imagine the Hodson years not being some of our best.

I forgot Hodson, who gave us three.

So there's at least eight seasons before Miles... the OP is baloney.

I just gave you EIGHT years of example where our passing game was far better than at least six Of Miles's ten years. The OP is crap.

If Hodson played in the last 10 years we would have 2 more national titles...if CLM didn't screw him up

Not only that, for many years college teams played only ten games. Then eleven. Then twelve.

I, too, would like to know how he came up with that propaganda.

Passing achievements should be measured relative to other teams in current circumstances, not against Nelson Stokely and Paul Lyons.

2006 and 2013 LSU were elite passing attacks compared to the rest of CFB

And so is comparing offenses without adjusting for the different types of college offenses

Bingo. Sorry, but Miles is the common denominator in all of this. It's hard to fathom that every single QB since 2008 except Mettenberger for 1 season has just been a "bad QB". Is it the QB holding back the offense? or is it the Head Coach holding back the development of the QB? Since 2008 LSU has started 5 different QBs and had 3 different OCs all with very similar production (or lack thereof) on the field
