Don't hate. I am an LSU alum, lived in Dallas since 1997. Most of the ALUM from the other ut are sensible and classy. About half of the ut fanbase bought their T-shirt from Wal-Mart and spare no chances to get in you face. (there are a few alums sprinkled in there)
In general, I think all of the SEC fans in Texas see the pathetic conferece and non-conference schedule ut put together and we all realize that they only schedule schools that take the short but to games.
Bottom line is that they play no one and claim to be the best. As Ric Flair says To be 'The Man,' you gotta beat the man!" They are scared of "the man" and beat up the "the man's" shrip little brother.

don't see any hatred towards UT from LSU will say this i feel like UT is very similar to notre dame, ohio state, michigan, and USC most people have strong feelings one way or the other towards those schools probably could also throw florida into that mix

i remember one year it seemed like texas beat us in everything they beat us in the cotton bowl they knocked us out of the womens basketball tourney maybe even the mens basketball tourney, thats when i really started to hate texas

Why is that? I love hanging out in Austin and go to Astro's games every year in Houston and have a good time.
Some of you that have problems with everybody else and hate other for where they are from or the team they root for are just plain weird. Maybe if you have a problem with a bunch of other people and you are the common denominator maybe you are the problem. Quit being such sensitive pussys or go play by yourself.

The only time I hate Texans is when I'm behind one on I-10. Holy crap; worse drivers than South Carolinians, if that's even possible.

In-state rivals have UT more than Louisianan do. Talk to folks from A&M, TCU, TT, etc...
