Looks like many of you never played and/or never coached...

I did both and I got yelled at as a player many times and got yelled at as an assistant coach too. I had a few coaches who had the paddle put there too and weren't afraid to use it... I used to much rather get yelled at.

I didn’t like getting yelled at in front of the players as a coach, so I did my best not to do that as a head coach. But there are times when the head coach has to yell and the old school coaches do it a lot more...

That’s what coaches do.

If he said nothing people would complain he has not fire, does not care, and is collecting a check.

But I agree the offense is not good and has shown little improvement over last year at the skill positions wr, qb, and rb. The best players are the 1st year transfer wide receivers.

Makes me wonder more about recruiting and development at the skill positions.

Thank you for your post.

Wouldn't you say it's beneficial to bite your tongue on smaller issues and save wrath for bigger problems?

My thought is "You can't put out a raging house fire with the same small bucket of water you use to douse a campfire"

100% disagree with this. He offers more information at press conferences than most.

He never had to share that Nuss was injured at all. There are many things to be upset about. That’s not one of them.

Saban was like Yosemite Sam on the sideline… yelling while jumping up and down and flailing his arms about. Quite entertaining to see people like McCarron and Kiffen get an old fashioned arse chewing.
