Why does everybody hate the bowl game so much?

I know it was a disappointing ending to a good season, but a Citrus Bowl appearance is a really good spot to be in considering where we were last year. I know bowls aren’t as good as they used to be (with opt outs, so much focus on the playoff, etc.) but I still really enjoy them. Enjoy the sport for what it is. LSU will be playing in a really solid bowl after a rebuild season, and I’m happy with that.

Good chance to end the season in the top 15. After 2 straight losses, a bowl win is as important as it ever has been.

Is a really solid bowl to be in during a rebuilding year.

It was better when it was the Capital One Bowl

Shitty opponent i what I don’t like

Would rather play a lesser bowl and have a better name matchup.

LSU has to win that game. Hopefully with Nuss as QB.

9 days ago we were #5 in the country and in the playoff conversation and you are surprised people are disappointed with the Citrus bowl?

Crazy thought. Maybe don't expect to go to a prestigious bowl when you get blown out by a 5-7 team in the final week of the season.

Yeah, the Citrus Bowl. Probably the best bowl outside of the NY6. In a rebuilding year with a new coach.

Total lol bruh.

You've obviously never been to a bowl game in Nashville, Memphis, or El Paso in December.

Depending on how bad Daniels ankle is, it may be better for him not to play. That way he can be ready for the spring, or the combine. Whichever way he goes.

LSU just traveled probably 8,000 people to the SEC Championship 8 hours away against the #1 team. Probably 6k sold their tickets to that game.

Now we play Purdue in Orlando which is 10 hours away.

The bowl season is important for team development for the future. Lots of extra practices and opportunities for younger players to get experience. And like it or not Purdue is a worthy opponent for where we’re at right now. We best be ready to play.

Bc it will be an empty stadium and a no win game. If LSU wins, ok, and if LSU loses it will set the program back.
