money HELPS LSU baseball.
it's the love of money that is ruining it.
it someone doesn't show up to a game, and that seat is empty, why wouldn't I sit there?
I mean, it's EMPTY. and it's better than the seat I paid for.
if someone comes along claiming that it is their seat, I won't question it, i'll respectfully get up an leave.

I love how because someone spends more money than you on baseball season tickets, makes them all of a sudden BETTER than you, and they like to rub it in peoples faces.
They're not better. They just have better, reserved seats, can sit in the air conditioned clubhouse in the 120 degree heat during regionals, eat, drink, bang their secretaries......want to know why? Cause they paid for the seats.
Like I said, I sit down the 1st base line and I'm not jealous of people in those seats. Maybe someday, I'll have the cash to buy those. And until then, I'll sit in the seats I paid for.
And for you two losers...here's an analogy for ya...cause ya'll are about the only ones who don't get it......try your same logic at an NBA game. Hornet's games were sometimes 3/4 full with many, many empty seats courtside. Try to walk down and get one of those suckers......they're empty. Why not?
Cause you didn't pay $1200. That's why.

I notice you didn't respond to my earlier post about TAF and money buying LSU a new $32 million stadium that I'm sure you love.

No, this is going over your head. If you have the ticket, you can sit there. If you don't, you can't. And to LSU, the value of your ratio is $2300 per seat plus the price of the ticket
Actually no. The value is the price of the ticket. You pay the $2300 to reserve the right to purchase those tickets.

Now we are talking. Better.

Why not?
Because there are multiple levels of seat prices in the New Orleans arena. From $5 to over $100 a seat. You can't have someone just buying a $5 seat and moving to a $100 seat. That would be retarded.
Now even more retarded would be the New Orleans arena selling 5,000 $100 seats and having them 75% empty everygame when they could be selling those 5,000 seats to season ticket holders and then selling SRO tickets that allow you to sit in those seats after the half if they are empty.
Selling SRO is esentially selling the seats twice over. That's smart.
Then we could get into the fact that most of the weekday games are more than 3/4 empty and the Alex Box SRO policy is even more rediculous than ever. Thanks for coming on board.
There are other differences, but I'm tiring of explaining them.

So what? Hornets games were 1/2 empty some nights and they won't let a guy who paid for the $20 seat move courtside......because if they do, it devalues the courtside seat. Just like 1st class on an airplane, just like the purple seats at Alex Box.
The people who have tickets in the purple seats paid the price of the ticket then a $2300 per seat seat license. Just like the people who paid for season tickets to the Hornets for lower section seats PAID for those seats and they won't let you go and sit in his seats if he the owner isn't there.
Same thing. LSU and the Hornets aren't responsible for how full or empty their arena is and they don't get into the business if letting people sit in seats they didn't pay for. Sorry.

1. I have 2 seats in the purple seats. They were not $2300-6000 a seat. Everything is exagerrated on TD.com. Don't believe everything you read on here.
2. I go to 70-80% on the games. I don't care who sits in my seats when I am not there. Not baseball or any other sport.
3. The real reason none of us are in the seats are because we are are in the club drinking mint juleps, counting our thousand dollar bills, and laughing about how "the poor folks" are outside in the cold/hot. I am joking.....relax.
4. When I can't go to games, I used to tell friends/relatives that I won't be there and they can sit in my seats. This all stopped with the ticket nazis checking tickets. I work 2 hours from the Box, so if I end up working late, I can't give my tickets away/sell them at 4 pm on Tuesday afternoon. I guess that makes me a bad Tiger fan. I dunno.
5. I am on my way to the Box.... none of you better be in my seats when I get there... or else I will start a 9 page thread bitching about it tomorrow morning.... you twerps.

The Hornets have 12 pricing categories LSU has 8 for baseball. Is it that much of a difference?
Single game tickets are in 2 categories but the stadium is technically sold out for almost every game with SRO available.

A section of the purple seats had a $2300 seat license with them....plus the ticket price. Maybe yours weren't but some were....I know that to be true.
Like Catman, I don't remember anyone saying $6000.
