In terms of supporting the program I would say that is correct. Im happy sitting in my bleacher seats and I love LSU baseball but I would never give them 3K per seat. Nor would I ever be big enough prick to think I had a right to sit in their seat if they didnt show.

why do you care if someone's in your seat and you aren't there, it affects you zero

guess that depends on your definition of support

I SERIOUSLY dont get what you are all whining about.. You buy a ticket for a game in ANY ball park with a seat number on it or SRO. You can get perfectly fine seats in the bleachers BUT NOOOOOO some people think that they deserve better and need a high dollar seat.

Its kinda like a deer stand....I dont want anyone in it even if I am not there... Not even to take a picture....

I SERIOUSLY don't understand why you would refuse to let somebody sit in your seat WHEN YOU AREN'T THERE.
My 5 year old niece thinks the same way you do about her bike. We're trying to teach her about sharing.

some of us just think there are certain situations where it shouldn't matter, I think "golfer" said it best. Not for weekend series, but after a rain delay, or against a nobody like mcneese, where there will be tons of empty seats anyway, you might as well reward the people that actually come to that game or who stay

Its simple and I really dont get why some of you do not understand this basic concept..
If I pay 3K for a seat but someone that pays 210-250 a year or worse FREE can sit in my seat on 70% - 80% of the games or just in my section jumping around to whomever did not show that day. Then what sort of value am I getting for my seat? Its in LSU's best interest to guard these seats so that the value of the seat remains high preventing me from just buying a 250 dollar seat next year and sitting in the seat du jour.
Remember this is the FIRST year TAF fees are imposed on Alex Box.

I was joking; I thought it was obvious.

You let the bum down the street borrow her bike? Do you share your car? When you go on vacation do you leave your house open incase a bum wants to spend the night? Are you really this stupid?

No shite. Of course it's about money with LSu, but that doesn't explain why you should give a damn about somebody sitting in your seat when you aren't there.
Your posts make it seem as if you personally woud be offended if somebody enjoyed "your" seat if you were a no-show to a game.

if you don't go to 70-80% of the games, you shouldn't fricking have season tickets, but my point again is more about certain situations, like 5%-10% of the time.

Let me get this straight:
Are you scared somebody would steal your seat and you would never see it again?

I would be no more offended if I owned 50 yard line seats and someone sat there when I was not there. Or if I had a suite for football and couldnt make it. But nobody ever tries to upgrade like they do in Alex Box either. Its policy in Tiger Stadium and nobody thinks twice about it. What I dont get is why people feel the need to sit there? When its raining those seats get wet. They were soaked during the ULL game. So that reason is out. If you have a SRO ticket then sit in the bleachers! I love my seats out there I certainly do not feel I have to sit closer to home plate because someone else didnt show.

"Then what sort of value am I getting for my seat"
you ar geetting the best view with the most comfortable seats and the best amenities.

should be ALL general admission seats except the suites IMO
first come, first serve.

You're just upset that someone would want to sit in a better seat without paying the money, aren't you?

You missed what I said.. 70-80% of the time there will be someone in a section not at the game. If you jumped from seat to seat a person could sucessfully sit in the purple section for an entire season or close to it. If I went to EVERY game and saw someone doing this then I would feel pretty ripped off that I could have done the same without having to pay a 5000+ premium (two seats) Of course I dont have that kind of money to plunk down 3K on a seat so maybe the people that do feel differently.
