Ballscaster, kiss my arse. I have the right to point out coaching deficiencies when the university is using the money I pay for seats and TAF fees to pay a man 4.5 million dollars a year. The fact that you think my pointing out problems with the play of this team is disrespect to the university is laughable. I guess you look at government and say that the economy sucks, but hey, I am a citizen I just need to shut my mouth and live with it. Do you do the same thing with your family. Just sit back and not say anything when they screw up because you don't want to hurt their feelings? How about your job? I mean you are just lucky to work their right and every decision made by your boss should be accepted no matter how it affects you?

And I'm having a lot of fun reminding some people that the coach they can't stop bashing has more national championships than they have credit hours.

Ballcaster is another one of those status quo people. Its also clear that he has no job or is trolling due to the post numbers he's managed in 5 months. That's 15 posts a day for five months, you must have a lot going in your life. No matter the outcome the team tried and that's all that matters. 1-3 in the last bowl games is fine with him because they had the want to win and the kids had a good time on the trip. Getting into the national championship was fun even though your university was embarrassed in front of the whole world by getting its teeth kicked in. I will be an LSU fan till I die and I will continue to critique Miles or any coach that LSU hires.

Correction: I never got over it because there's nothing to get over. I'm not on the team. It isn't my game. I care that the team represents my university well, and they definitely do that.

Les Miles is a great coach, and the numbers are there in case you need any proof. The man loves representing LSU, and he's been more successful at his job than most of us have been at anything.
If you can't be happy with LSU football under Les Miles, you'll never be happy with LSU football. If you aren't happy with the Les Miles era, you are a terribly shitty fan.

I don't want Saban back. Even if he came available I wouldn't take him. He fricked us when he decided to coach our biggest rival. I would never take him back on that principal alone. I don't long for him. I don't give a shite what he does.
My complaints about the program have everything to do with Saturday Gameday Incompetance. Getting paid a kings ransom and not having a coach that we can be confident he will make the right decision, call/not call a critical timeout and manage the fricking clock. I don't want my coach to be that piece of shite D-bag Alabama has. I want him to be a solid competent coach that won't blow the game or give up on the game when we compete against the big boys and things get tight. For the money we pay our coach I don't see why those expectations cannot be met.
One more thing. I love LSU. I will always be a fan regardless of how good or bad we are. I just refuse to condone mediocrity from our coaches decision making process for his pay grade. You 80%ers just need to take off the purple and gold glasses, take a break from pumping all your sunshine, stop kissing our coaches arse and protecting him and get realistic. Giving him a free pass makes you part of the problem, not a part of the solution of making us the best team we can be every year.

You wanna idolize the guy fine...that's certainly your right....but I'm pretty sure it's not written anywhere that I have to show my undying loyalty to an over-paid, half-witted football coach in order to be a tiger fan.
If you have a lucid moment sometime in the future, read some of your own posts and ask yourself who is really being a schitty fan and a total fking drag. "Have fun" with that DB!

Nothing gets addressed so that it won't happen again, unless we lose. If we lose its step and fetch it time. Then we react. The 80%ers will be right there by ole Les' side as our program circles the drain with his incompetent coaching on Saturdays.
If you can't be honest with yourself as a fan or a person to see that Les has flaws as a gameday coach then you a just too stupid for words and I am done wasting my time with you.

I find that in the real world outside of Tigerdroppings, the ratio of fans happy with Les Miles and the current state of LSU is even less.
Here, there is about a 50/50 mix. Out there, it's more like 75/25 - 75 being unhappy. When you buy season tickets year after year, your acceptance level gets more stringent.

I agree. TigerDroppings is very forgiving and has the most Miles supporters. Most i speak with outside are done with les.

Yeppers. It is why he is on my ignore list. Knows nothing about football performance, gameday coaching, preparation, recruiting, facilities or value of money.
Kid has not put a dime into this program yet you would swear he has been a fan for decades and put in tons of money like so many here. It really is laughable.
he is also a great example and proof of a education/degree from LSU does not automatically= being smart. he actually makes LSU degree holders look bad. he sounds like the educated liberal idiots on the poliboard. But, if you do not have a specific degree from LSU you are not a fan, blah, blah, blah. well, maybe he go go cry to alleva/TAF and tell them to stop selling season tix and parking passes and quit taking donations from people who do not have degrees from LSU.
I know kids in junior high smarter than this nitwit. It is hilarious.
