LOL at every comment before this. Our fans do not suck. as a current student, i will admit i get frustrated when i see players at parties before games, smoking weed, and getting fricked up at bogies after a loss, but I'm proud of the LSU tigers. I think fans deserve to be upset when we lose. LSU's coaching staff gets paid premium salaries to win championships.

Fans are allowed to be negative, just as they are allowed to be happy. The old dudes on this board need to relax when it comes to bashing the young guys. LSU will be a great program for the foreseeable future, but i do agree that its tough to see BAMA doing so well. Let's be thankful we aren't Penn State, USC, or Notre Dame.

"Les was 28-21 (and 1-2 in bowl games) at Oklahoma State when LSU hired him... but there's no way they can find a coach to replace him that would, at least, put up similar results, right?"

Saban was 34-25-1 at Michigan State, including getting his arse kicked by Jerry Dinardo in the Independence Bowl. So if you want to know, Saban didn't make LSU. LSU was here playing good football in the country's best venue long before little Nick came to town and will be here long after.

Saban didn't make LSU. LSU made Saban. He stumbled through here at a time when the recruiting pickings were great, as they still are.

Just so ya know.

Our "fans" suck, because they are fans of LSU, and observers of Alabama.

They don't follow college football. They check Alabama's box score, compare it to LSU's and compare and compare, bitch and bitch.

Imagine if you had $50 to spend on raw meat to make a fantastic meal for yourself and your SO. You have your eye set on some fantastic filets, but you let your wife pick and do the cooking. Instead of filets, your $50 bought you and cooked a really really good burger. However, a burger is not a filet and you expect to get filet quality when you pay a filet price. When you pay for a premium cut of steak and are given a ground beef patty, your hunger might be sated, but you probably won't be satisfied by it.

Love reading all this bullshite about our fans sucking while I am watching the replay and reading this. I made the trip to Ole Miss and was able to watch a team show up with crappy game plan and no since of urgency until the 4th quarter. The funny part is I get to watch that again tonight for the first two quarters against FURMAN. You figure you get embarrassed the week before by losing to an inferior and injury depleted team you would come out the next week ready to prove yourself. But no, its the same old shite. Play to the same level of your opponent the first half. If not for a wide receiver on Furman not getting set before the snap you could have gone into half down at home to FURMAN. Do you blame that on the coach or the players? Or maybe the fans didn't have the want to cheer hard the first half, because the players sure didn't have the want to play well.

If you were a realistic fan you would know this wasn't our year to really make a run at a national title, you simply can't replace losing so many underclassmen that were starters on defense. That really shouldn't be too hard to grasp.

I think we are upset that they didn't have any sophomore or juniors really ready to take their place. It is foreseeable that you will lose guys in 3-5 years. Mingo, Montgomery, Logan and minter were all here 4 years.

Really then why is Les Miles one of the highest paid coaches in college football at 4.3 Million a year.

What the frick does title ix compliance have to do with football.

Actually dick, myself and 26 other members of my family have graduated or are currently attending LSU. My family has had season tickets since my dad and his brothers attended LSU in the late 50's. We currently have 24 season tickets, a parking pass and two motor home passes. I have gone to the Miss. State and Ole miss away games this year. I am a Libertarian and only morons like yourself who think Miles is the best coach ever and never should be criticized are democrats. You believe that just because the powers to be say its good enough that everyone should believe the same.

Not at all. Some people have the ability to look at a matchup and see the flaws without being a homer.

Just because a fan doesn't think we win the game doesn't mean the guy doesn't support the team. He has an objective view and that's how feels it plays out.

That's a huge assumption, and certainly wrong in many cases.

There is a difference between respecting a university and turning a blind eye to any blemish. People who love something generally want it to be the best it can be.

Then show your school some respect and stop acting like a sidewalk negatiger. If you're an alumnus, act like one. As far as I've seen, you're a shitty fan and a drag. This is for having fun. If you can't have fun, find some other way to spend your time.

This in no way describes the shitty sidewalk fans I'm talking about.

I'm talking about people who have never had any affiliation with LSU who crow about what they "demand" and "deserve" from "their" football team. Those fat bastards can shut the hell up. LSU's football teams represent the university, not the sidewalk fans who arbitrarily decide to let their quality of life be determined by someone else's college football team.

If you didn't go to LSU, welcome aboard the bandwagon, but don't shite on my school. Talking about my school is in the same ballpark as talking about my mother. LSU's teams represent the university, not sidewalk fans. And take it from this alumnus—OUR football team does a great job representing LSU, and their coach is one of the greats—the greatest in LSU history, in fact.

Sidewalk fans: have fun and be happy, or frick off.
